This is my review on Great Mazinger Vs Getter Robo from the distant future year to Shutendoji of 1975(30 years before Transformers the Movie)

its a crossover movie of Great Mazinger and Getter Robo(NO! REALLY?!

Its directed by Masayuki Akehi who did Devilman 70s eps 2, 28, 34/Fist of the North Star 2 ep 11/Kotetsu Jeeg eps/Mazinger Z eps/Saint Seiya eps/Space Battle, Danguard Ace/Ultimate Muscle/Yu-Gi-Oh! Season 0 eps 19/26.

It stars Japanese voices rom the TV anime

I never saw this but its like 28 mins and I like crossovers

After title and Great Mazinger Song

In a red sky shipyard a glowing disk comes in/turns ufo and tells Gilgilgan the surface has his fave metals so eat up and we'll conquer earth starting w/Japan(Where The gods started it after Mu sunk in God Mazinger).

It lowers an egg that hatches a green reptiloid that bites an oil sphere to blow as the UFO goes loling. Then Gilgilgan eats a monorail/tower.

At the Science Fortress Laboratory Kenzo Kabuto's minion detects a UFO.

At Saotome Institute some nerds notice something then send Ryoma/Hayato/Musashi in Getter Machines to beat Great Mazinger to it.

Kenzo's goons say the UFO's heading for Yokohama and Tetsuya/Jun come wanting to check the UFO

Kenzo says Getter Robo's already there but Tetsuya asks why not tell me sooner?

Kenzo sez they saw it and watched which bugs Tetsuya as Getter'll get the info so he's gonna go til Kenzo sez wait/Don't make it personel/I'm in contact w/Dr Saotome.

Ryoma lols as Tetsuya's mad for this and Getters reach UFO which speeds off.

They chase/UFO lols they cant stop me/eye beams at em they evade/fire on it to no effect.

Them using Jets is like the zords fighting b4 going Megazord.

Hayatos knocked down but recovers and Musashi wants to go in but Ryoma sez you'd be f'd so they Go Getter 1 and Both beam and miss,

Science Lab nerd sees Yokohama has cr=p so Kenzo sends Tetsuya in Great Mazinger who's glad.

In Space like The Leprechaun Getter beam misses/UFO beams/Getter throws Tomahawk trough it/Getters hit.

Saotome sez don't take risks/we can't do it w/o you.

RYomA sez Tetsuya would lol if he go f'd. them UFO BANGS on Getter

Gilgilgan eats cars as Great comes and Kenzo sez be careful as Getters having problems w/the UFO

Great fires Atomic Punch which is eaten despite being Super Alloy Z

Greats Breast Burn does zip and he evades Gilgilgan's barf.

Greats Thunder Break is countered by eye lazers to blow of the last arm Great avoids more green barf

Dr Saotome sees things are f'd and sends Michiru in Helicopter as Getter trio returns

Ryoma asks why you have us retreat? so Dr Saotome sez they'd be beat so I'll go to Science Fortress Lab and give new orders after repairs

G Boys watch Great fight Gilgilgan w/Naval Missile doing squatt as Babboo's b0ning kimberly

Greats leg is barfed on and is beat around so he Great Typhoons it back til the barfed leg f's out and Great falls.

Kenzo sez get out but Tetsuya cant leave after he was shamed by this

Boss in Boss Borot comes to save him like krillin in the Garlic Jr movie when Yajarobi/Mazinger Z is better

Borot punches Gilgilgan's face so hard he breaks of his own arms which are eaten

Borot spazzes out til Great carrys him off w/arm stumps flying

In Science Fortress lab they fix Great Mazinger as Tetsuya wants it done faster so Getter guys don't beat him

Kenzo slaps him with his probably metal hand saying dont worry of cr=p like this/I didn't raise you to be so petty/cant you see how important this mission is?

As Getter Robo had Texas Mack, did the Soviets have a mech? Or only GOOD Nations?

Dr Saotome comes himself at the Science lab and sez Getter Robo and Great Mainger gotta work together to win

Like Yugi and Kaiba or Judai and Manjyome/Edo/Johan

Michiru/Jun are there but do nothing and Kenzo want to lure it to an uninhabited island and Dr Saotome thought the same but who'll lead it there? but Jun has an idea

In Boss's hanger mucha/nuke sew cloth on Borot with a propeller on it had to let it do land sea and air somehow

Jun in Venus A comes herself and asks boss to lure the space yokai to an island

Boss consentS as he wants payback like Mel Gibson on THEM and flys Borot out the roof of his cr-pshack(that flying cr-p worked?! Boss super engineer!)

Jun uses Venus Eternal Scrander Power and flys with Borot as the city is f'd by Gilgilgan who steps on a guy with his bug leg and blood sprays out cool then eats a tower and monorail again

Gilgilgan devolves with a humanoid body coming out its back but widescreen cutS the top off

Getter guys watch news saying Great Mazinger cant stop it but they lie a lot

Ryoma getS order to go to an island at F7 49 0 to help Borot

Borot goes down and the head propeller fall offs so he falls and breaks of a left arm thats eaten

Jun trys saving him as if he bitEs it the plans f'd and she attempts scrander cut but is swatted down

She trys koshiryoku beam to no effect and got a leg barfed on and a broken scrander wing

Boss trys saving her by acting girly top attract it as jun leaves

Mucha/Nuke want him to gtfo but he has a mission and runs as Jun sez it up to you to get it to G boys

At the sea cliff he has Mucha/Nuke pump Borots diaper to inflate as a floatie pool toy like some deviantart thing

In Science Lab they fix Great Mazinger and prep for undersea use

Borot swims with 1 arm paddling and kicks as Gilgilgan walks on the seafloor and eye beams the diaper popped

it grabs borot w/a bug leg but he struggles to stay up

G boys go getter 3 and missiles gilgilgan but borots leg is stuck on a rock somehow so they Getter missile it free

Gilgilgan barfs at Getter who jumps w/o legs and missiles it

Dr Saotome sez Getter cant beat it alone so get it to the island so Getter leaves and splitS

Dr Saotpme sez we're ready here so send Great and Kenzo speeds up Great repairs

Boss gets to the island and Gililgan bitEs his foot and beats him apart as boss/friends are in the head on the floor like Blue in Violence Jack Evil Town

it charges at boss to eat him like Mad Saulus but Getter 2 bustS out the ground and drill punchs it off

2 trys a Drill attack but is tail swatted away and Dr Saotome sez its no good on its own

Michuru calls Kenzo to send Great Mazinger who goes saying its a rough launch but tough it out

Shiro asks if it'll be ok an daddy Kenzo sez they got no choice but Tetsuya has training

Great rocket pack flys out then ditches it to scrander off

Getter jets fly/attack/go getter 1/evades barf/chops off bug leg with Tomahawk Boomerang/zaps with Getter Beam

Great come himself and dives with Mazinger Blade as Getter beam zaps Gilgilgan

Great stabs Gilgilgan in the humanoid torso then Getter beam on the cut leg and thunder Break on blade in chest to blow it

UFO sez you forget of us? and gon sacrifice itself to power up Gilgil;gan with energy it got from here

Gilgilgan pulls the blade out as UFO evades Breast burn-/Getter Beam.

Great nails Gilgilgan with Naval Missile to little damage and UFO goes in Gilgilgans mouth to be eated like the german cannibals butt buddy

Gilgilgan devolves to a pink titan and finger beams are evaded by Great as Getter beams to no effect

it carves Getters cape with a blade so Getter crashes

Great uses Drill Pressure Punch which bounces off and Great saves Getter from being stomped

Tetsuya sez hit with Getter Beam and Breast Burn but Gilgilgan flys and both chase and beam its right hip to blow

It recovers and shines wing beams to blow stones then lands

Getter beams the weak point hip where it pulls out its yellow blade and it pulls out the other blade to attack for a 2nd point Great Naval Missiles

It finger beams but Tomahawk and Great boomerangs its hands

Great hugs its hip in a non Netflix way and shoots a naval missile in to blow it then Getter beams it

Great uses Double Mazinger Blades with scrander off cut into it and Getter goes 2 and drills in

they bust it up inside like the nano machines THEY put in things as Gilgilgan spazzes out

Both bust out but Getter 2 is tail whipped down and great saves it from Gilgilan falling 

He's still not dead so they scrander on and Getter 1

Great stab both is eyes with blades then double thunder breaks em as does Getter beam

Its head blows but its not dead still like the boss in Forbidden Worlds and it whips out its long hard uncut wings to beam fly and blow down both bots then blows in the sky

Both Bots shake hands/Say thanks and hope to do it again soon

Borots head rolls in like You didn't forget me! and Tetsuya sez you made us win

Great holds Borots head who's happy but drops it the both bots fly w/Great holding Borot head as a song plays

Shiro sez great work as the others watch on a screen in Science Lab and Kenzo/Saotome thank each other

Getter splits and flys off and it ends on a slow zoom on Great Mazinger holding Borot head

the end

that was pretty good

Non canon to the shows/Manga but well done

Animation is around tv series level unlike Mazinger Z Vs Ankoku Daishogun which went higher

very widescreen but good color

Good voicing and cool idea of a new enemy instead of like Sonic And mario at the olmpics where both badds team up

overall I liked it and its good super robot action

And the myserious alien is like how in Alien 1 how we see the alien ship and space demons but it hints theres a lot more to the cosmos unknown

like AVGN said. it makes you see how vast it is as only the best sci fi can

For Great Mazinger Vs Getter Robo 2 I want the alien ruler to come and see why they iced his emissary and launch an attack, but Kotetsu Jeeg and Groizer X join in and its a big battle. Also its a 16 bit shmup and beat em up on Sega Genesis, Snes, TG16, Atari Jaguar and GBA where up to 4 players use Getter Robo. Great Mazinger, Kotetsu Jeeg and Groizr X to fight waves of enemys and other Dynamic Pro character inspired bosses like not Enma Kun or Not Cutey Honey or Not ShutenDoji.
