people say it one of the worst anime ever but these guys also hate on Eiken and Urostukidoji and Violence Jack and Mad Bull 34 and other great things when Anime was about manly cool guys fighting manly cooler guys and hermaphrodites, instead of wiener kids crying in the wind

so after 80s logos we get this night city thats bright colored and this blonde chick with a breifcase handcuffed to her arm and the area is atacked by rockets or something and blows her VTOL jet and takes out guys

this chopper attacks em and these guys catch the blonde and get her in the hpper and escape

thenthis construction crew is busting a building and this big buff guy voiced by daisuke gouri is whining of his cr-ppy job as he was a commando  but main guy whos a green beret and elite sez he likes a peaceful job and this area reminds hm of his youth in America in the slums of soviet los angelas

then this chopper and jeep bust in and have a gunfight and soem guys get iced byt theres no bullet holes and they fall like a 40s mvovie

main guy, john kyosuke hiba, or john k, or john kyo like john q or john everyman in Death Spares No The Tiger, jumps like 30 feet and geabs the chopper andlusts for the blonde before a gun is aimed at him

he ducks away 4 it fires as i guess hes faster than a speedo bullet and does gymnastics to flip under the chopper cuz hes a super elite who can do anything

the chopper is shot diwn and crahes through a roof and hes on top of it somehow and his meathead homie checks him but the jeep guys get them at gunpoint

this gov guy gets blonde out of the chopper but she shanks him with a switchblade and he pulls off her locket and when the jeep guys aim at her, they get shredded by the chopper guys who escaped

the chopper guys getta way in an ambulance and the bad guy whos face aint seen sez to blonde at a bar later they go to the island later

so main guy is caught by da gov and filled with truth serum but resists while chained by the wists like riki-oh and is the best the gov had and is a one man army and has records for missions and resigned his commission

in soviet el salvadore he was ordered to waste a civilian fam like ba rock and his drone workers did a lot cuz they were accused of aiding the enemy, but he didnt and trie sd to save em, but they were iced and he thought "anyone who wacks kids is a butcher" as i guess hes pro life and dont like all those daemon worshippers going after the unborn

so this gov guy takechi is in charge and sez hes a dr to have authority and the gov lets him cuz hes one of THEM

the americans cant main guys extradition for icing army guys but meathead sez he didnt do it even though it looks it, but he had a job for john k and masami fudo the meathead and wants em to bring back the blondes briefcaseand says its got a biological thing that can be used to balck male enemies or infect em

like the maruta did in the 2020s?

so it was stolen by phantom the death merchant and they offer john k 200 000 $ to get it back but he dont trust em and thinks she was working with phantom and john k dont wanna work for da gov as they'd deny it for "Security reasons"

takechi shows him the locket and sez to show the woman and he recognizes it and later in the park has ramen with masami and has taken the job, wait he didnt and thins kid brings john k thing note for 500 yen and john k runs off and fudo masami has to handle the kid

in a baseball stadium johk k meets the blonde and they reveal to have known each other 12 years ago and they as kids were the happiest days of their live

she was adopted and she and him and makoto were best friends like guts griffith and casuka and she sez she not here for phantom and he sez she wasnt used to be a murderer and keeps plating the clip of her shanking the guy

he liked how kind she eas and trys telling her phantom is the bad guy who gets weapons rom all nations and sells to the highest bidder but she sez the gov lied and she rally had an aids caccine

a viet nam vet called in to stop the bad guys, even ussr, from getting an aids vaccine? is this one of the most aids i mean 80s things around

john k sez if there was an aids vaccine it would be on the news but as the news only says what THEY want us to hear, she tells him the gov sed its made secret and she objected as she was a research assistat and the gov refsed to allow production

then some guys with guns come at em from da gov and want her to come with em and john k too

they know of john ks knives but then they get shredded by gunfire cuz theres snipers like the grassy knoll and they come doen to fight instead of picking hum off like the other guys

blonde named cathy or maybe cassie goes with em and ses not to ice john k and if he meets phantom he;d know

they knock her out with the gun and he dodges theirn gunfire like Pan in DBGT and takes em out

so hes caught by this rope and held up in the stands like hes gonna be drawn and quartered ad the leader is shadowed over and reveals his face to be john k's childhood friend makoto who throws a knife in joh k and leaves himand takes cathy

then john k falls and thsi hindenberg blimp takes off and we gatta flashback of young makoto with a blood wound side and cathy on the other and he and young john k are holding knifes but jons ha no blood on it and makoto drops his knife

this flashback was a dream and john k is in the hospital and bandaged up and takechi is there loking like an exil max sterling from Robotech an recovering from surgery john beats him through the hospital dor and sez "you knew"

takechi sez in 3 days the phantom but not of the opera is havign an auction on his private island and 3rd world slim countried are comming

then on makotos island in this temple like a daemon worship thing theres jets going by and taken out as makoto sez the gov is sending them soon

in the swamp masami and john k are lurking and the guards catch em and shred a croc but not croc from the n64 game and bring em to makoto

makoto wants john k to be his partnet like with guts and griffith and john k wants to bring cathy back

makoto shows al the counteris he deals with and its most of earth, not chile, greenland, parts of africa and mongolia for some reason, but soviet canada is in there and probably using tit to deal with sasquatch/moose hybrids that b0ne people ead with weird man parts

So Matoko controls uch of the world with his money and sez that as john k's rents were iced by malcontents he otta join him as a weapon of vengeance and makoto offers him a room of gold bars

john k hates tear ur isnts for the chaos urdrrs they do and makoto does the same with his dealings

makoto brings cathy in as john k wants her and she wants to speak with john k alone so maokto leaves

she wants john k to not fight makoto and shes the locket of a picture of them as kids, but i dont knw who took it as they were street rats

she sez makoto sed he'd share the aids cure to help the aids bags and give them free health care, but john k points out that any country with the aids cure could infect the enemy countries with aids, like THEY did to africa, and makoto would use anyone for money

cathy sez makoto fidnt change that much but john k offers to bring her back but she dont wanna

then makoto sez on the speaker phone that he has  plan for john k and thenwe see john k and masami fuso in a jail cell as the rikioh guy loves manly guys in jail between splatterfests

john k sez in the outskirts of l a years ago was a slu infected with kids. the city was full of crime but if you climbed a hill you saw the 1st world of beverly hills where 90210 and the hillbillies went. the soviet republic of california was collapsing and familys suffered andnkids ran away from a clean safe home to the slums to rule in h=ll istead of serve in heaven.

the kids banded togetehr like with griffiths guys in berserk but this came 1st and after john k's rents were iced he joined em and met makoto and cathy(like in riki=oh how he was living with his evil twin brother in the woods and ditched hi to be a rich kid witha  tricycle but backwardsO)

then we see the clip of bleeding kid makoto and young jn k who looks like guts from berserk but hes not b0ned by a big black guy his dad sold him to

the next day we see makoto and hes thinking of him at graves and then he shows the guess video after saying the maruta land has high quality weapons systems(spoiler; chinese things are cr-p and break easy, they are made by slave kids for pennys a day between sodomy breaks and often get chewed up in the machines. At least Shiro Ishi was said to have done it for medical research that can help humens, not to make a cr-ppy iphone so some loser can play a badly ported 16 big game on a touch screen controller that doesnt work)

so makotos men are armed with martuta weapons and are hunting  live men in the juggnle and its john k and masami and use chainese made items that ar cheaper, but you get what you pay for

in totally not predator, john k takes out the commandoes with skill and a bow made of a stoing on his arm and darts to ice people cuz hesthat good

he catches one in a net trap he somehow had and aims the gun at a guy who fires a rocket launcher but offscreen john k takes him out and fights a tank as cathy looks worried

but then all the choppers blow outside in the air parking lot and theres jets flying off

ofscreen masami took out the tank with the rocker launcher like in Commando with Arnold and Masami sez the Americans are gonna bust the island

after gearing up like Rambo john k goes to face makoto and the gov guys say that with the island busted, the world will think only America has the AIDS cure, and even if they dont have it, the enemies will THINK they have it and not go against em

like when Trump is n charge and no one f'd with America as even though hes a man of peace, THEY thought he'd nuke anyone against him and didn't risk it

so cathy and makoto go to this ziggurat he had made and john k fires at his feet to stop him and sez America is gonna f da island and cure, bu eh can still save em

makoto sez its not over and john k wants cathy to come to him and reveals makoto would not give the cure out as he promised and he only cares about money like zuckerskin and his garbage site that was inferior to myspace

makoto only said he'd cshare it to get her to steal it and exploited her love and makoto admits it but cathy gievs no f--ks

john k sez hes not the same joghn k but is now the dog soldier and it starts raining for no reason as the skies were clear a sec ago

maokot gets a poison knife outta his a55 and battles john k  as cashty watches ret-rdedly andf 80s music plays

john k's knife is knocked away and wait its makotos and as john k charges, the place is nailed by a missile and wounds john k's leg

makoto coem up with a gun he had the whole time and didnt use cuz hes a mong0loid and sez he'd continue selling weapons an wait, he'd not as if you are in 21 feet of a guy, he can run in and shank you b4 you pull ur gun/aim/fire, so he did the smart thing with a knife

makoto reveals the aids cure is fake and even catshy didnt know as its got side effects that make it unsafe for humans, like how THEY say "this product is safe," and its apprved, then 2 years later you start seeing adds saying "If you took this product, and got (long list of damages) call us and we'll get you money, but ur still infertile"

And Makoto was still gonna sell it as even if its fake, they'd pay for it and other countries wil think they had the aids cure, so hes selling an illusion to counteues and its his revenge

jhn k sez hes addicted to money/power and is its slave and this makes makoto throw away his freekin gun and pick up a knife to end john k

he stabs but cathy cares afer hearsing of fake aids cures click here and in a weird cr-pp scene, she runs in and gets shanked by the knife ut her clothes has no damage and she has no blood

she sez how they had good times in the slums and  was an abandoned child and those were the best days of her life, back in the summer of a 69

an ten, she died, ahhhhhh!

wait, she sez they were both her, and then bites it

then as katchy dies the su comes out, like when I watched Carrie  and as the mom got it, the sunoutside my home came ut, and john k attacks makoto

makoto firs at him but all his bullets miss at ckose range and john k jumps 20 feet in the ar, and comes down and shanks makoto in the skull and this is like with zor in the robotech geensis comics with his homie and gf

makoto isnt dead dead and goes on for a bit about how the ones who iced his rents were White, like his dad but his mom was japanese and the union i mean synticade ruined his dads business. as his rents were ruined by money power he vowed to rule the word with that power as his revenge

wtf, why would he wanna rule the world with what killed his fam?! its like a hiroshima survivor wanting to rule the world with nukes

then again, roku hyaku man ichi the guy who personally ended all abortion laws in soviet canada claimed to be in the holocost and went on to caust the deaths of countless more real innocents

then the place starts blowing for some reason, maybe missiles hitting to fast to see, and john k takes his dead cathy in the fire

this et of makoto's comes in and the foece of the shockwave breaks the window on teh aircraft carrier and its flown byjohn k and masami who throws the aids cure in and fires on it but i think misses takechi

john k flies off, not its sunset, and wonders what could have makd ehis friends so damaged in 12 years?(i thik the manga sez but i never rwad it. Riki-oh said what changed the people and it made sense, so maybe this would and have a bigger bad behind it)

then a song showing photoes of john makoto and cathy as innocetn and hopefully virgin kids

that was pretty cool

i otta read the manga when its done being translated

the animatuon is pretty nice for the 80s and its got that 80s style and feel

its got some heat and is more realistic than most people would admit with the, holy cr-p, j c staff did this?! they did gwcaizer and eiken!

but i liked this, its got good action and i hear the manga is a brutal splatterfest, like the rikioh guy does

john k is a good guy ut hardened by a rough life and means well when slaughtering nameless goons

this was englished by us manga coeps of central park media who did m d geist and voltage fighter gowcauzer ad it may not be the mst deep or meaningful anime, but its got some truths that shows there is more than meaets the eye and below the surface is a deep dark ocean

plus it shows the gov as the bd guys, like real life

For Dog Soldier Shadows Of The Past II I want him to go to the USSR on a mission nd find there's a gate to the hollow earth near a soviet base the gov wants to take out, but in the hollow earth he and masami are caught and find toad people working in there and were behind the gov and know the gov was gonna betray them and use their tech to take over, seeing his chnce, john k and masami fudo say a prayer and angels come in and there an epic battle with john k using a holy gun given by the angel to shred the toad people, a;so fudo gets a holy pickaxe and chops against em and they splatter the inner people and set the base to nuke and get out. also its a 16 bit beat em up game on sega genesis, snes, tg16, atari jaguar and gab where 1 player is john k and the other is masami and you fight against various allegedly extinct animals that were really i the inner area and soem are cyber modded with metal control implants and armor and weapons.

Its based on a Manga by the best author Go Nagai who did classics like Devilman, Violence Jack, Devilman Lady, Demon Lord Dante, Cutey Honey, Mazinger Z and many sexy violent fun cr-p

It stars Shun Sugata from Kill Bill Vol 001\The Last Samurai/Kill Bill Vol 002/The 2009 Dororo/The 2008 Sakigake!! Otokojuku/Tokyo Gore Police/Kekko Kamen 3 The live action film/Engine Sentai Go-onger/Fuller House, and no one else Ore Samma saw in anythong

I never saw this b4 but read the manga and watched the 90s OAVs

So it starts in the forrest and daemon abashiri is humming and a chick follows him and tries to shank him

He catches the knife in his mouth, gives it back and takes it again.

they fght with knife and then she uses a chain and he ties her to a tree wirh it and pulls out her heart with his bare hand like indianna jones but less daemon worship

he laughs and walks off and leaves her to rot and be d0ned by any gaijin who come by

then title and credts with art fro the manga, often showing half of mostly naked Kikkunosuke

Narator sez the Aashiri Fam is violent crooks looking for money and other bad guys fear em cuz thwy are soo bada6 and no one can stop em

they got an unbreakable fam bond and we are introduced to the dad Daemon Abashiri, his lusty son Goemon, hus manly son Naojiro, the youngest asplosive one Kichiza, and the curvy often nude dater Kikunosuke.

the cops fear them for crimes like murcder, theft, ason, fraud, prisn breaks and mo lesting and we s the manga panels flip and shows the actors.

so tired of beng ;d by em, the cops start an all out thing to get em and have em sourrounded and outn numbered,

Then 1 year later thers a ciry of bad guys by mt fuji(Like by the Photon Power Lab in Mazinger Z?) in the woods and its a guarded area outside and inside is like india but less human wasye and stench with people all over in a cr-ppy city

1 guy beats a man for serving him meatless meat buns (as i guess he didn't wanna e a girly man from eating soy) and the guys wife chops off his arm, the cook bats his head in and they bring the body in to cook

In Paradise High the school in there, Kinu beats up guys attacking her and b4 she shanks 1 with scissoes, the PA uses sound to f her upand stun her with a chip implanted in her head that keeps her from comitting cromes like the South Parl Movie

Miss Honey is watching the event with secuity cams and the headmaster Danjuro Namakubi goes on the air to tell he teens played by 30 year olds but cuz its Japanese they don't age, that this area isa a lawless city in Japan ut they gotta obey the law andteachers to graduate and e forced to be decent people

Is this Clockwork Orange? Also, they are doing the Paradice High arc again, instead any of the other weird devolved things Go Nagai wrote

so these toughs go by and sent the guys beating up Kinu off and this chick tends to her as kiku blax out

Later Kuku is walking with her gf and wonder why she can't fight and these toughs hassle naojiro whos a teacher ans moppig the floor

They tells off Kunu ad agw goes hme and they take Nao off and put the mop i his face as his collar and chip keep him from killingt em

as walking hme, Kiku's gf sez its her fault Kiku got beats for saving her and we getta flashback

The bullies are stoll mad at her but kiku dont care and they meet i think Kihiza who was bullied and had cr-p drawn on her

as the sun bins going, Kiku as her butt buddy Yuki why shes here and Yuki lost her memory but thinks she was a villian, wait, its kiku who lost her memory and when yuki is gonna say wh shes here, kiku sez to keep her secrets

yuki seZ kiku dont need to dave her from bullies but kiku sez she will cuz shes her only friend

then they start sloppily making out and pulling off each others clothes and making b0ning sounds

jk thats em in Violence Jack

a nerdlinger watches em and has a metal item that glints and then the headmaster has the cook and his wige execured for icing that guy but they say he stattrted it

damjuro sez this area is full of the worst crooks and the guys here are to be rehabiitated but crimes still happen, so to keep order someone must be executed each day and snce all are crooks, its ok to ice em each day

then he does a kamehameha and cooks em with his secret move murdering wind and was told by honey that todays opertoons are done, he nearly ells her something but instead sez keep rup da good work

honey is called by a guy in shades who asks how the experiment is going and is told good

He sez world leaders hive high hopes for it and hony sez by freeing and lmiting crooks by implants, they can eliminate all crime, which is unamerican as The Founders wanted Freedom and notoppression

shades sez she discovered the genes of criminals no reashers could with her prpject and she sez criminal impulse stimulators are in human genes, called the Abashiri Fctor and its ranked by power of impulse, and the stongest ones are the Abashiri fam. If they can remove the impulse then evem the A Fam wont commit crmes, so she put chips inKiku, Naojiro ands Kichiza (Or Kichixa in Maruta) to control the factor with supersonic waves

Shades needs proof they wont commit crmes again by drivng em into extreme condition where they have to commit crimes but cant

also, crime is relaive, as in some countries some things are lgal, like watching a moie the gov dont like, or disagreeing with the god of the leader, or eating food made of an animal the kuso baka okama jigoku suki gajin worship

Honey thinks they guys true purpose is to supress the AbAShiris and at night kiku is making dnner and mai comes  by and 1 thinks the other is a violent crook

naojiro is beat on by toughs who he beat easiily b4 and he then gets the ipper hand and pns em to a tree and holds em by the throat and crushes em

donjuro uses his murdering wing move and daemon counters it with his blade slashes like a f--kin zelda game

donjuro wants revenge for his daughter as they both lved their own and he wants to even it as 2 wrongs make a right and goes on abiut if daemon has a right to judge him and dameon sez stuf i only care of my fam

honey and kiku fight in the woofs and honey wastes i eman is wasted by kiku

daemontakes donjuros blade but donjuto does the clap thing to catch em and b4 he ends him the tuning fork uses waves to stop them.

why dont it affetc dojuro?

so the one hlding the tuning fork is yuki and is revealed to be the 3rd namakubi dauhgter who was faking being her friend and thinks kiku is too soft to be a vilain

that was pretty cool

standard live action japanese movie but with soem go nagai fun

good message and acting and the effects were cheese and fake but thats part of the fun

not as go nagai style as other things but not bad

its only like an hour and a bit and its holds up pretty well

For Abashiri Family The Movie II I want thmem t take on the gov and the gov uses mechs and power armor as well as devolved guys mutated by experiments and several people surgically connected into one body and they bust through em to get to the REAL rules behind it. Also its a 16 bit beat em up on sega geenesis, snes, tg16, atari jaguar and gba where you play as the Abashiri's and fight through the bad guys and bosses are higher rank guys.

also i think the patient who smokes is the dead guy in flashbackls

so dead smoker patient had a dream and its a werid different tone colored thing and he goes in an empty house an a bird showed up and thieres a little blonde girl with a  eyed teddy bear and as he goes upstairs he sees the door open and in it is the girl with bird feathers and screaming

later hes at this museum and the cop sez the dead was seeing a chick and was iced by a woman and he used his shirnk appointments as a cover

cop wants main guy to help but cant as confedentiality and cop sez he night get iced by someoon out there

at home blonde comes by and sez she was with dead guy and he wanted to dom something but she didnt wanna, i wasnt paying attention, and she left and he bit it

she feels bad about being glad she dont gotta deal with im andhe comforts her and they smooch to warm loving music

later he talks with him mom and she sez to go to the cops about it but he dont wanna cuz he wants to find out how the dead guy got it

eventually he meets a mugger who pulls a switchblade on him and takes his coat and sends his a55 outta there

this is what happens when you go out in a park at night in soviet new york

as main guy leaves the mugegr gets iced offscreen and probably b0ned dead and the next day he tells the cops he was grabbed and the cops say the wound patters was the same as the iced guy and its probably for wearign his coat

later main guy goes to see blonde whos nude but on her front so we dont see her weird rectangle nips andshes getting a masaasge nfor her f'd back

also she wants to know when hes free of patients yo meey

later he goes to the museum and meets blonde then theres an auction on soem cr-p you gotta pay taxes on cuz they need to for fsiled gov programs that cause more harm than good

so main guy sneaks into blodnes office and not oriface as thats gay ut not really, but merryl is pretty mannish in feels and lack of femininity and love so it fits

cop comes by and talks about bringing a witness to see if he recognizes anyone and this is going like the kevin costkler costner movie film no way out

as da cop and witness come in she rad the note and leaves and later he goes to this dark home thats a li=ke where the dream was and blonde is in there sucking a flaming faeg(or in NON brittish; smoking a cgiarrette)

main guy sez her friend told him where she was and the cops think she iced the dead guy. but he went through all this cr-p like paying 15 000 on a cr-ppy painting, might lose his job/go to jail/drop the soap/get butt hammered by a big black guy like guts in berserk

she explains this house was her moms and her dad left mom and mom drank til she bit itwhe maerlpy was 16 and she dindtn feel for her

so dad took her to france or something gay and she was happy and cheerful(or in 1800s tlake; gay) and at 18 she got her inheritence and got a letter from mom saying she always loved blonde and was sorry blonde never knew. mom sez dad turned blonde against her and never lpver her and to be careful around him as dad only did it for money and she ent to the chruch and dad followed and he showed him the letter and it f'd him up. dad sez mom was drunk when making the letter and went to hug her and his face creeped her out but she pushed him off and he held her against a rain and she thought he was gonna iced him and she hit him and he fell and bit it

she runs to the balcony and killer gets her against the rail and tells her to jump but main guy comes in not dead and killer tries to shank her but blonde spins and killer falls off

blonde catches her hand and she slips out and falls to the groudn showing the impact, like how sheiced her dad (her ninja trainign kciked in)

so she hugs the main guy whos not dead but has a knife would and blood, and it shows the night moon from the start and credits to wonderful warm emotional music like in a Don Bluth Film

The End

that was pretty good

nice tension and edge of ur seat style

good acting and themes

its like a less p0rn0 basic instinct

its got really moving music and the filming and scares are pretty good

it goes by at a good pace and its not a million little things all at once, but a gradual burn that gives you time to feel

i lliked it and think its pretty good

just that the jump scares and long wordy monologue at the end was a bit off

For Still Of The Night 1 i man i man mean i mean 2 i want them to be a couple and she's pregnant and more than tripled in weight, but the shrinks patient has snapped and is going around cutting people pen and eating their organs, but NOT killing them, and hes gotta try to work with the cps to save em, also he's gotta cook for his hungry wife andfeed her often in long feeding scenes of her huge a55 being filled. its also a 128 it point and click game on full motion video on sega dreamcast, gamecube xbox and ps3 i mean 2and you choose options and find clues to figd where the killer will go next, also theres mini games between rounds of cooking and feeding the expanding wife.

For 12 Angry Men 2 I want the racist guy to go on a quest to reconsily with him son and looks for clues to find where he went, and travels the world from 1 clue to another, but finds hes caught by a mexican cartel, so he has yto take em out and save him son before they chop him up and cook him in acid. Also its an 8 bit point and Click adventure like thart Phantasy Star Game but on Sega Master System and Game Gear, Nes and Game Boy, TG16, Atari Lynx and 7800 where you use items to get to the next part and find your way through the cartel base and save your son.

Game Reviews Volume 31 From 2023 Part V

Another dozen or so games I went through since the last review and my thoughts and experiences on em.

Just beat Zool: Ninja of the Nth Dimension for Sega Genesis on my 2DS. Its a Mascot Platformer from Gremlin Graphics to try to be the next Sonic. You use a Ninja Gremlin With Attitude who has a 3-4 hit life bar, can climb walls like Spider-Man and jump like in Mega Man X. A is attack, B is jump, C when jumping and I think Up is a Ninja Spin Sword Attack like a Beyblade in the air. start pauses and there's Checkpoints you hit with A when standing near. If you bite it you go to the last Checkpoint and keep all items collected. You gotta collect enough Items of the Level like Candy in a Branded Chupa Chups Candy Land or Records in a Music Land. Once you get enough of the Item, head to a Gold Circle and then do it 3 more times. On the 4th there's a boss who has a pattern if you know how to avoid its attacks and where to hit, it can be beat. There's an Arrow in the Status Bar that shows where the End is and its semi see through if you ain't got enough Items. There's a Timer but it never ran out on me. You can get Power Ups like Invincibility and a Clone that copes your moves. You can punch through some walls with A when standing still and there's extra guys around. You can get up to I think 4 or 5 Continues in the Options and Difficulty only changes how many Items you need to end the Level. The game plays really fast and its pretty tough with enemies coming out too fast to see and taking a lot of hits. Some enemy shots can't be seen easy and you gotta focus. Often bosses float around firing shots in a pattern so you gotta evade and attack. The graphics are pretty good and the music is likable. Its got kinda iffy controls with him skidding if going fast and you try to turn around. Also he often faces the wrong way. You can slide with Down when running and get under things or Do The Duck Walk or Crouch. Some hazards are tough to distinguish. Its not bad but some parts got me mad. Glad I did it. Good cutscenes but kinda tough and cheap.. I used Save States to save time.

Just beat Bishojo Senshi Sailor Moon S for Game Gear on my 2DS. Its a simple game like those Barbie ones for little girls where you go from Left to right or zig zag up and do some platforming and beating enemies until you get to the end. At the end of the 1st 2 levels, you get Amara and Michelle's Charms and in the 3rd, is Trista's but its usually up where you gotta do platforming on blocks and moving things. If you get all 3, you get the Purity Chalice and become Super Sailor Moon before the boss and it makes you stronger. If you skip the 3rd Charm, it still goes to the boss but you don't got the Power Up. Its a simple game and has nice graphics that look right and even some voice samples. 1 button is jump, the other is attack and Start pauses. There's a Scepter attack that you find Icons for and I never figured out how to use it. You get unlimited Continues and Lives don't matter cuz the levels ain't long and Continues only 0 your score. There's mini games between levels like Matching until you find Tuxedo Mask or a Quiz but its in Japanese and I'm not Fluent yet. You play as only Serena and the art is pretty good for 8 Bit. The jumping is kinda off and floaty and you often drift to 1 side and gotta readjust, which throws you off. Its only like 5 levels and the final boss is Kaorinite who Space Folds in and out and can be beat with jumping around and kicking like a kid on nose candy. Its simple and not that tough and the controls could be better, but its not awful. I liked it and it had a few good parts. There's also a Password of 4 numbers if you wanna skip ahead. You can have up to 4 Hearts and refill from dropped ones but I think the health stays between levels and only resets after biting it. Its made for little Japanese girls but I had some fun with it. Glad I did this one. Oh and there's some Unskippable Cut Scenes like when Serena Transforms or a character says something..

Just beat Zero Wing for Sega Genesis on my 2DS. Its a Shmup where you use a Zig Fighter to fight a group in 2101 AD who took over the bases. Its best known for the meme All Your Base Are Belong To Us in its badly translated opening. You get Unlimited Continues. If you touch ANYthing, you bite it and return to the last Checkpoint, even if using a Continue. A/C fires and B is a Tractor Beam that catches enemies and uses it as a shield or projectile attack. There's 3 Weapon Power Ups; Spread, Lazer and Homing and they can upgrade by getting 2 of the same Power Up in a row.. There's also Options Above and Below that fire to the Right and can block enemy shots. Getting 2 Lazer then 1 Spread gives you upgraded Spread. There's also a Nuke you can collect fired like a B caught enemy and it does massive damage and negates enemy shots in its area. The graphics are good and the music is great, mainly the intro music, and it plays pretty well, but some parts are tough. In the Options you can turn on Autofire and change the number of lives or difficulty between Easy and Hard. Its more than a fun meme and is pretty decent, although I'm not that big on Shmups. I don't hate em, but I don't like the 1 hit kills much. I often run straight into enemy fire on instinct or w/e like the kid in Pet Semetary and the Road. The hard parts can be overcome by trial and error and there's always a power up or 2 when you resummon. The Speed Power Ups usually aren't but sometimes can make you too fast. Biting it wipes all Power Ups. Its not a bad game I'm glad I did it. Oh and some enemy shots blend into the background like the Skull Turrets that pop and send Debris out in brown on brown shots. 

Just beat Virtua Fighter Animation for Sega Master System on my 2DS. Its a 2D Fighting Game based on the 90s Anime I think of the 90s game as TMS is credited in it. 11 button is punch and 1 is kick and you can switch em in Options. There's a VS and a Story Mode and in that, you fight the other guys, 1 by 1, until you beat em all. Each guy you beat unlocks em as a player character and if you lose, that guy is out until all are out and you use a Continue. Its pretty easy and simple and I only lost 1 fight against the Game Boss and beat him the other 2/3. The graphics are simple but have decent animation and there's good music and even a voice clip in Japanese at the end. The D Pad makes you Jump like its low Gravity and you can crouch. There's a 30 second timer and after that, who has more Life wins. Regular Kick is a head shot and knocks em back and on the floor. There's Ring Outs and you can walk off the arena. I think you can block but it never came up and holding Back didn't do anything. Also you can't pause and Start does nothing. The cutscenes are good but in a small square like its Sega CD and I can usually time it to kick em in the face as they get up and loop em until I ring em out or beat em. Also I can duck and punch and chip away at em. Its simple and can be beat in under half an hour but is decent and has some good bits. Glad I played this one. Its better than the Genesis one. The Story is pretty good too and makes me wanna watch the anime.

Just beat Vigilante for Sega Master System on my 2DS. Its a side scrolling Beat Em Uo where you play as this dude who gotta save his GF from a gang. so Hokuto no Ken. It Played like Last Battle on Genesis with 1 plane and little Platforming, and you beat down or jump over guys walking toward you. 1 button is a Punch, 1 is kick, both together is Jump, but Jump then Doqn and 1 or both buttons or w/e is a jump kick. The jump kick is needed to beat bosses and takes some getting used to. The game is like 5 levels and its got Lives that return you to a Checkpoint when running outta life, and Continues that restart the level. Its not bad and each boss has a way to beat, like crouching and punching in the right area or punching when near the van as the boss jumps at you and the punching hits without making contact (using Ki??). the bad guys strangle yo and you gotta spazz on the controls to get out and many guys can be jumped over to avoid.  The graphics are nice for 8 bit and the music is fine. It controls mostly well but that jump kick needs some training to do. There's also Nunchaku to puck up by crouching but they go when hit too much. Its not too bad and I think there's unlimited continues, but some parts you need to do over and over to get past. There's often a Checkpoint near the boss and the final boss can ONLY be beat by jump kicks when he goes near and timing it. I think There's a Level Select thing with holding Up/Left/Both Buttons in the title screen. Its by Irem who did Spartan X and R-Type and Kid Niki and Holy diver. But think is the one I like best from their works. Glad i did it. Its simple, but from a past era before things advanced.

Just beat Sonic Forces on PS4. Its kinda 3D but with some 2D and a platformer. Its the 1st game I beat on a Sony System. You get Sonic, Past Sonic and Original The Character you can make who's not canon. You get clothes to wear on the Avatar and can choose the Species that gives different abilities and a Wisp Gun. X is jump/2nd jump/homing attack/Past Sonic's Drop Dash with jump then press and hold again, L/R shifts you Left/Right and R2 is a Wisp Gun that can be changed between levels, Circle is Stomp in air or Slide on ground, Triangle is Wisp Move like Lightening/Drill, Square is Boost and the Back buttons are Stop or Jump and keep getting hit when I don't want em to. You get infinite tries and there's a 60 min time limit(That you can beat several Sonic games in). The graphics are good and the music is great like all Sonic Games. It can be beat in under 2 hours but for me, the 1st boss took hours to do. You gotta jump and homing attack when Zavok on his Bee Mech stings the ground but I couldn't get it to work. Not sure why but I actually ran out the clock doing him. After 3+ Hours I beat him and the rest of the game is not so bad. So its like Sonic 2 on Game Gear how after the 1st Impossible boss, its easy. The story is pretty good as is the voicing but not sure why Silver is there as he's from the Future or w/e. The new bad guy named Infinite is kinda cool and the Phantom Ruby is part of Sonic Mania. Its not long but neither is the 1st few Sonic games and I kinda liked it, after beating that 1st boss. Some parts are kinda iffy with falling into pits or homing attacks not working but its not game breaking. If you get an S Rank you get 2x the Clothes. Also there's a Grappling Hook like Spider-Man the Avatar called The Rookie uses. Often I forget what button does what and just resort to homing attacks. Also the Lighening Wisp is a Whip like Castlevania Lord Of Shadow and makes you invincible kinda and can do more damage than homing attacks. Glad I Did This.

Just beat Fantasy Zone: The Maze for Sega Master System on my 2DS. Its basically Pac Man but 1 or 2 guys play as OpaOpa and UpaUpa to collect all the coins and avoid being touched by enemies. 1 button uses items you pick up by touching and you gotta have enough money to buy it. It wears off after a bit and don't carry over to the next of 51 levels. You get a few lives and no Continues so unless you use save states, you gotta be perfect. Each level can be beat in under a minute and you get more money for doing it fast. Its got nice colors and graphics and the music is good. It controls pretty well and you can pause with Start. There's a gate in each level enemies come outta that gradually turns red so you gotta touch it before its done or the enemies poop out smaller guys that move fast. Each time you buy a Power Up, the price goes up for the later levels so sometimes you gotta go naked. There's a Blue ROB The Robot looking thing in the corner that comes up and sometimes turns enemies into coins and a Power Thing that makes you invincible/faster and cream through enemies but its expensive. Sometimes enemies ignore your shots and bust you. Also often the enemies stop in the way to the Gate or on it and you gotta use a Weapon or evade em . I made it near the end on 1 run and saved in a place I couldn't beat it on my last life and not enough dough to buy anything so I was thinking of giving up, but started over and beat it. Its not bad but its pretty unforgiving. Oh and according to the text at the end, its a Prequel to the other Fantasy Zone games as here OpaOpa earned his right to have a twin blaster and other weapon as defaults. Glad I beat this but probably won't do it again. Its a decent mix of Pac Man and Fantasy Zone instead of a straight up clone. And there's bonus levels that you gotta go in a dark maze with only the area around you lit and there's a timer in those to get all the coins. Some levels have wall holes to loop to the other side and enemies can't.

Just beat VR Troopers for Game Gear on my 2DS. Its a 1 on 1 fighting 2D game like the Genesis Version based on the 90s kids show. You got a story mode where you play as 1 of the 3 Troopers, or a Battle Mode for free play as other characters. 1 button is punch and the other is kick and Start pauses. You can spazz on the controls to do special moves that you kinda need to beat the enemies as basic punches/kicks do diddley.  You have options to have it on Very Easy, Easy, Normal, Hard or Very Hard and change it to best of 3 or 5 rounds. You can change the controls and time limit to 5 30 60 or none and can make the fighters normal or giant where they take up half the screen and can't jump. Its the same enemies from the show and the Genesis Version, but instead of clones of the players, you face Kameleon (like Mortal Kombat?) 3x and he actually has attacks now instead of only turning into other guys. The graphics and music are pretty good for 8 bit and are compressed versions of the Genesis one but a few are repeated and replaced a few from the 16 bit one. The story is different too as here the heroes come back to the Dojo at night and  transform to beat the game. The Skugs are different here too as you gotta beat on 1 at a time and he spazzes out after beating him before refreshing and continue until the clock runs out. Good writing and dialogue like the show. It can be beat in like under 20 mins and I don't know about Continues as I never lost, but it was close a few times and I was on Easy. Not a bad game and like most fighting games, its a quick play but a fun ride. Glad I did this one. Its pretty cool.

Just beat Renegade for Sega Master System on my 2DS. Its one of the founding Beat Em Ups from the guy who later made Double Dragon and was based on his malcontent teen life of beating people up. Its by Taito and Technos and was The 1st Kunio Kun game in Japan but was Americanized to be like The Warriors or Mad Max here. 1 button is Hit Left, the other is Hit Right and both is a Jump Kick. Double Tapping Left/Right does a Rush in that Direction and you can Rush Jump Kick with but buttons or Rush Punch with the one your facing. Its 4 levels and each is like 3 screens that you move on to and ends with a boss that has a life bar. 1 level is on Motorcycles and you kick Up/Down with each button. To fight the guys on Bikes by spazzing around the D Pad and kicking the foe in the pinpoint spot to knock em off. Also you can get a White Star Power Up on there like the one on Pit Fighter that shows up when low on life that makes you Invincible ad hit harder. The final round is a 2D Maze where you go in the correct doors to get to get to the boss and fight guys and past bosses as regular foes. Your life fully refills after each area and the final boss uses a Gun that kills you in 1 hit, but if you get him in the wall, you can jump kick and move around to loop him. Sometmes you can get on top of the foe and beat on him when down. You only get 3 guys to beat the whole thing and falling off a ledge is instead death, but foes can be beat off it too. Its got nice graphics for 8 Bit and good music. Its not a bad game but some parts ae tough, but it can be beat in under 20 mins. The last level has a bar area that after beating the guys in, sends you to the start. Also biting it makes you restart the area you are on. Glad I did this one. Its a part of history in gaming. Oh and the Master System Version was done by Natsume. If you bite it, the bad guys throw you in a dumpster like in The Garbage Pail Kids Movie.

Just beat The Curse of Illmore Bay on Genesis. Its a platformer made by like a half dozen guys where you use  1 of 3 kids who gotta beat a Krampus looking Djinn that made the area a Halloweentown and people into bosses. 1 button is jump, 1 is attack and 1 is special that uses a Power you get from beating bosses. Its got refs to other horror\Halloween things like The Great Plumpkin or Cushing Lee. There's even Christmas things. You collect candy\fight enemies that's different in each of the 6 areas. There's 3 save files hat autosaves. You can change the controls and I like number 5 with C = Jump, B = Attack and A = Special, but going from C to A is a bit tricky. On 2 of my Turbo Pads, C and Start swapped somehow so I used a 6 button one but only are 3 used. It  controls pretty good and the graphics work well with the Halloween style. The music is good and the game has a 90s G Rated horror vibe that feels good. You get 3 guys but can find 1ups but the game has em at 3 when you reload a save. Game overs put you back to the Title and you go back to the Save Files. It don't save the options and you gotta rechange the Controls each time you turn it on. Its by Second Dimension and is made in the 2010s but other than the cutscenes seeming like Lady Sia style Europeany art or Pajama Sam, its pretty 90s. It  improves after playing it as you think of the retro style its got and your childhood it brings back. There's achievements for beating the bosses you were gonna beat anyway and other things and you can unlock a boss rush after beating the game. Its got some heart too with the bosses warmly giving you a power after you beat the evil outta em. The powers use a Magic Bar that's refilled with power ups and if out, good luck. You got a 6 hit life bar and you gotta find a Key in each level to unlock the White Sphere to end the level. The levels can be beat quick and biting it on a boss lets you try on him again. I'm glad I did this one and its worth the 65$ I paid for it.

Just beat Montezuma's Revenge Featuring Panama Joe for Sega Master System on my 2DS. Its a platformer where you play as this treasure hunter going in an ancient Aztec Tomb to find the treasure of this past ruler. It came out around when Indiana Jones did so its got that similar idea but I think its pretty good. Its published by Parker Brothers who usually did Board Games and was on various systems. You use  button to jump and Start Pauses and that's it. Simple but it works. You get a few lives in the top corner shown as Hats and can hold several items like Keys to open doors or a Blade to use once to ice an enemy. If you touch an enemy or fall too far you bite it in 1 hit but sometimes you take the foe out with you. You gotta know where to go and what order to do things in, but if you do, the game can be beat in under 4 mins. I used a speedrun so I'd not be wandering around for hours and its pretty good. Simple graphics and sound but the opening of Panama Joe going in the Pyramid is pretty cool. After getting to the treasure room you loop the game again and again but I did it once and it was pretty fun. Lite Simple Clean and Fun. It plays pretty well but ladders you gotta stand directly on to go up/down. Its a quick run but enjoyable while it lasts, Like an ice cream from the Truck in the Summer. Glad I did this one.

Just beat Predator 2 for Sega Master System on my 2DS. Its a Top Down Run N Gun from Teeny Weeny Games and Acclaim who did that bad Wolverine game on Genesis. 1 button is fire and holding it autofires, and the other cycles through your weapons. The main Peashooter has unlimited ammo but the others like Spread Gun, Spray Gun and Grenades have a limit and need to be collected by finding huge guns on the ground. The game Autoscrolls but stops if you are on the side and. you gotta save captured people who stand up with arms out in an "I'm Free" pose like Batman Forever. You got guys coming after you and drain health from your big red bar at the bottom if they touch you and there's snipers you can't kill in the buildings that only fire in the same angle on either side. There's guys coming out of the ground you can ice but they recover, also the running guys have new ones come out after you waste 1. There's the 3 Red Target Dots that end you if locked on and can end captured guys if it gets on em. You gotta save the guys and after like 5 or so you face the boss 1 screen. The bosses are all different and often you gotta hit em when they come out or open up. It helps to know you can use diagonals but those are hard to get right. Also the enemies keep coming in those levels and you gotta dodge shots and guys. There's passwords to get to the level you want and I used Save States to save time. Also there's piles of something that heals you fully laying around. Its not too hard most of the time but can be tricky staying alive to get to the next area. Its based on the movie I never saw and in some times, you can stay in 1 part and fire on the boss when he comes out or for the game boss, stay near the top and fire when he pops up. The graphics and music are pretty good for 8 bit and it plays mostly well, but it can be tricky to cycle to the weapon you want in the heat of battle. Glad I played this. Its not as long as the Genesis ver but gets it done.

Just beat Tempo Jr. for Game Gear on my 2DS. Its a mascot platformer where you play as this Grasshopper (Which is Kosher somehow) and explore several levels to find this Key or Conductor Baton or w/e and then the Exit appears and you go to it. There's mini games like a Simon Clone where you have Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti Do in different colors and gotta repeat the pattern. Or a Hammer Game where you hit it at the right time to get the weight to the right one. 1 button is attack which is snapping fingers when far to fire a Music Note, or a kick when close. Also attack when double tapping left/right to do a rush can have you spin and nail enemies. the other button is jump and taping it in air lets you hover but you gradually drop, but you can keep holding it and go across the level if open. You can jump on enemies to pop em and pits and spikes don't kill you but make you scream and hop out. I honestly never died once as the game is really forgiving. Its graphics are where it shines with bright bold vivid colors and a really well animated main character. Great effects like his eyes stretching when he looks up and a pseudo 3D effect of his foot enbiggening when he sweeps it past as a kick. The music is nice and it controls pretty well. Its pretty lite and simple but its more of showing off the full power of the Sega Game Gear. It reminds me a bit of Blender Bros on GBA or a Treasure Game but more simple. I had fun with it and yeah it don't last long and I think there's a Password thing if you don't wanna beat it in 1 sitting or wanna go to your fave level, but its on Game Gear and that thing sucked batteries dry quick. The bosses have simple patterns and I think its more of a kids game but its based on the 32X and Saturn games of Tempo which had bright colors and great animation. Sometimes its good to beat a game in 1 sitting. Not everything has to be Battletoads. Glad I did this one. Its a really positive time.
