This is my review on A Calamitous Elopement from the distant future year to Jefferon Davis of 1908(130is yars efore the third Robotech war)

I never saw this but wanna review sometin quick and like Grifith

after title we s a chick reading a book and a guy tries o win her over wit flowers

it works and she likes em but she's tryin to read and he wants to smooch so he tries and he pulls away

she shows shes not into him and he walks off holding her hand and when she pulls to get free, he thins shes wanting him and hugs him with his long uncircimsized arms

a guy in a coat comes in and wiggs out then sens him on his way by shoving him offscreen and i guess outta the house but it looks like there might be more house there

he seems to tell her not to see him again as e don't want them b0ning like in soviet California but this was filmed in soviet new York

outside the bf throws small rocks at the balcony window and chic comes and he wants her to go wt him

they reach and he seems to say he'd get her and wants her to come down

she goes back in and he get on a ladder and climbs up she comes out and drops her bag over the side

he climbs up and wait he grabs her bag and it spills on the lawn and is probably full or t=mpons and butt toys

he falls and dad comes out the bottom floor window and bf runs and chic hides

wait its not dad i think its someone else an he takes the cr-p and suitcase and goes in

imagine if he was in a suitcase in prison lingo, as in, up da butt hole?

bf gets a ladder and goes up and brings her down

a cop catches him an takes him away

the basement guy gets the box she was bringing and carrys it off but spazzes around outside for a bit and eventually hides in it

a cop comes by and gets another guy and they carry it off

that could have a body in there, might wanna check it

in court the bf and chick go b4 a judge and the cops bring in the trunk

she locks it or unlocks it or something and they go out

after dropping the box own the steps they go back and this midgety guy dumps the box in an they leave

he basement guy who has a huge nose like some kinda tengu comes ou and i think has a gun, yeah he doe

he looks around and gets a suitcase and stuffs clothes in it, then looks in a purse or something and steals more stuff including what i think is a jar of cocaimum

well, this is the 1900s, sherlock holmes did nose candy

basement guy smokes up a cigar and leaves wearing their trench coat i thin and the film is over, i guess he got away with it.

the end

that was interesting

it starts with 1 story then turns to another

pretty clever for a 1908 film

classic overacting common for the 1900s and good stunts and style

its only like under 8 mins and has soem good fun to it

there's no title cards so you gotta figger it out but it tells it petty well with body language

like that 5kank zoe in Degrassi dancing to lets get physical with the line let me hear your body talk

its written by Griffith and he had some creativity for it and showed he took chances and experimented

its pretty clever in some ways but theres not much to the film when you thin of it

a guy wants to marry a chick and they go out but a guy acks their cr-p

but its only a 1 reel film so its ok

sorta like beyond belie fact or fiction with each segment being li 7 mins and you guess which is real at the end

glad i saw it, its historically relevant

For A Calamitous Elopement 2 I want the burgler to be trying to escape with the nose candy and there's cops around an he has to get to the slums to sell it, but there's also junkies and gaijin around and he has to fight through the german expressionist version of soviet new York in 190x. In the end he fights a cop and the cop beats him down then straps him on a cannon and blows him apart! Also it a 16 bit platformer game on sega genesis, snes, tg16, Atari Jaguar and gba where you play as the basement burglar and gotta beat out or sneak around the slum scum til the final level an you play as the cop and beat the black offa him.
