Katy Caterpillar

This is my review on Katy Caterpillar or Katy, la oruga, frm the distant future year to King David of 1984(60 yeas before Ropbotec Season III)

Its based on a song by Mexico singer Lucero and wait i think botyh came out at once

It has an english version with the Fox kids anmd Robotech actors like Barbara Goodson, Robert Axelrod, Bill Capizzi, John Hostetter, and Ardwight Chamberlain, Jan Rabson, bigger actors Troy Donahue, Hal Smith, Forrest Tucker, Barbara Parkins, with many of em no on Wikipedia

it has a sequel with them fighting aliens like the Battleship movie and i never saw this but my homie who likes Slugs and made a series called Cephalop-Odd posted it in English as i dont speak or understand mexixan, other than a swear word or 2

He's a good guy and positive so imma review this and try to be cleaner tha usual

after credits to nice music we see a night forest and narrator saying how there was a wonderful cherry tree that protected animals in it including the caterpillars who dont like katy the caterpillar who's going off and doing things they dont like, like eating cucumber leafs instead of cherry leaves

they want her to come uop but she likes the world on the surface and goes off to see somethingbut brittish crows see her and wanna eat her

dont crows eat corpses?

katy goes for a siny thing and its a glass bottle and she looks at it wonderfing wat it is and seeing her reflecyion

then the rows come for her n she hies in the bottle

1 crow brabs it with its wing which is not how wings work and gets a finger stucj in t  which is not how wings work unless ur a bat

the smart crow trys talking her out and fakes being nice and she dont buy it so he fakes being bummed by it

she sez she'd be his friend but a light shines on emand they book it  and the light claims to be the spirit of natrure and creation(like Creationism? Is this the Holy Spirit?) and asks why Katy left home

Katy sez its boring to eat cherry leafs and she's not like her sisters who are ok with it

the spirit sez inside katy is her real self which isn't a thing on gender issues but more like a toy coming out of the box

shes surprized she wont always be a caterpillar and dont know what she'd be as i guess no one told her of growing up

hang on iant her mom a catterlpiler? thats not how it woeks, caterpillars cant breed. they gotta grow up to reach the final forme to o that

so the spirit sends her to go on a quest to find her true self andsez she's gonna be everywhere and vanishes

katy goes walking and sings a song of fnding her place in the world and the night scenes remind me of Tanglewood on Sega Genesis

this is kinda nice and the animatio is pretty good, with moving music and heart kinda like a don bluth filme

then she gets a happier tune and is day and a dragonfly comes at her, even though they eat mosquitoes, and she climbs a spider web by the sticky part which is not how that works

the dragonfly books it and is sared of the sopier which sounfs like mae west and invites the katy up but katy dont think its good

hearing how fun web sopinning in, katy wants to try it but wraps herself in it so  spider mae frees her and katy dont think she's meant to be a spider

i personally like spders and had a pet tarantula for a decade and used to tie string around things to make webbs as a 90s kid

katy is given knitting needles and does better and ants to make webs but finds its to trap other bugs and katy dont like it and dont wanna e a spider

she leaves and falls through the web and breaks the lower web to free rapped bugs which angers spider mae and katy sez sorry, and leaves

she sits on a tree root but its a chemeleons tail and he sez how he blends in to his are by changing colors but not like a self hating white identifying as black

chameleon shows her his homies and they talk of being the best and others are ealous for their changing powers that he shows pff

they hang out and relax dont do it when you wanna go to it and have fun and sin a song about when they are done working they party

what wor? they are lizards! do they run things from the shadows??

its a pretty positive song and reuses a it of animation

they suf on leafs in the sea which I dn't tink worls and they run over salamanders who the calemions dont like for doing work and they look down on like brits hating America

katy dont think its right to look down on em and they ask her to change colors

she holds her breath and turns blue an yellow bit vlacks out and they think swe's not good enuff for em and tells her to get out

she dont enna be a chameleon as they sck and goes off as the chwmelons are like india with their class sytem

she comes across a busy bee whos getting pollon but its heavy andthe queen has high quotas

Katy asks if shes her real self and might turn to other things but bee never thought of it as shes too busy from pollinating the floers like the invid and te flower of life in Roboech

bee can't carry all the pollin so katy wants to hep but bee sez its against he rules and the queen will be cheesed

somehow the caterpillar outwalks a flying bee and gets ti a tree with a hole full of bees like the candyman with Tony Todd

bee brings the pllin in but forgt ro ge the bucet from katy s katy brings it up and bee gets eighed on a scale but its not enuff and isn't allowed to explain

they bring her to the queen, or regess like in robotech, whos struct as roylty often is, and katy comes in and sez the load was too heavy andshe heped

regess offers her a chance to be a bee and queen renames her with a number and indentures her to servitude like the brits in soviet England in 1812 capturing America Sailors to fight for them

then a song of bees singing of thir work how theres no time for anything but work like its the factory they make cellphones in commie countries and like korea with workers driven too far

even in 1800s America the slaves worked from  6 am to 6 pm with a 2 hour break in it

so bee frend helps her and  breaks a hole in the tree with broom pokes(what a weak tree! it crumbled from a toothpick poke by an insect!!) and katy crawls out

the bees see her and come fir her bt she outwruns flying bees on caterpillar legs and hides in a log and escapes a hole in it and climbs a flower for some reason andthey give up after a while and leave

she falls out of the flower andi ralize she looks like a glo-worm and cmes across a frog that ants to sell herstuff

se dont know what a customer is and he wants to scam herand makes customers look like an important thing and  how merchants work cuz of em

froggy sings a song of selling things  and i gota ask, are thre humans in tis world? I mean theres items and platic, but ecco the dolphin ha a ship in the 2nd game and tatue of men in the 1st and no ocreen humans. kinda like te lion king

hay a rubiks cube, remember those? there was rubik the amazing cube the cartoom  in the 80s that has an opening that feels like a family guy joke

the frog ez man made the items to make him happy and they'd make her happy but she sez the spirut sed she'd be happy if she finds herself

frog finds she neve owned anything and he zez she'd be happy if she buys something, but if he owns nothing, how will she pay?

she dont know what money is and has none and he offers her credit and she signs a paper w/o reading it and gets a broken button

frog goes and knocks her button and it rolls down a hilland on a lillypad in a water but she can't get it 

she jumps on a pad andto the nxt to get the button and the pad comes looe and carrys em off a waterfall but segrabs a branch and its breaking so she ditches the button

the crows get her and carry her to shore and they seem like creepers  bt b4 they eat her, a moue runs by and is chased by a cat and the birds run

the mouse takes her to a hole in a rock and the cat blames em for the dinner escaping and is gonna eat em but they offr tohelp him fin the moue from the fly

the birds sing of being tough and manly then the bird and cat and bird look around

katy is sadd they wanted to eat her and she hought they were friends andmouse brings her deep in the caves andto a homeand shares food with her but its too hard for her

moose is outta food and the cat is around so he canr get any but never left the area, but wants to live in the city lie with the rats in new York eatingpizza

he shows her the cty and katy sez they otta visit it but he's worried and she sez its not hard and she did it and he agrees to go wth her

then its day and redneck mouse is bringing a suitcase nd wlks with katy and gets to he road to the city where they see a car go by and its to fast

they see a hors cart which i tink is used in Mexico bt in the 1st world its only or the amish

they clim ba tree and the bords come or em butthey jump on the horses hat and when the crows come the horse whips em with its tail and sez birds are pets like in ninja gaiden

the catyells at the birds and sez to follow em and wait for em to cme off the horse

they get to the city and its loud and man does a lot like making and busting buildings and te orse s an indentured servant to the manwjo raised it and katy dont wanna serve man

And The Creator gave Man Dominion over the animals

so mouse and katy get off ad wander the city and its kind of a slum and they fall into another mouse's home and hes jumpy and sounds kinda ersey

city mouse sees they are country folk like redncks and this is the country mouse and city moue and he shows em around the night city zone

i miss this kinda art were its gray and dark but not depressing and has life to it

it looks much better than most things oday

esp cg thins

he sez the cty can be dangerous and takes em in the sewer like the ninja urtles and all hero video games esp in new yor

he akes em to a shipyard and sez hed give em the grand tour like dbgt wich is better than super and more canon

they look around the area and a man nearly steps on em and ty gets stuck in chewed gum but is pulled out

he shows em the ships and tells of weapons being sent for war but redneck moue is tired of hearing of man

ey go to a nightclub with flashing lights andits pretty 80s/70s with music that she knows of somehow, same with dancing

they dance katy and redneck moueand the animation i really nice and reminds me of things from my 90s childhood and makes me feel good like the rocking out punk moue spinning in a jump

redneck moue bumps guys ad stps n their feet ad the other kice take a swing at him and misses and hits another guy and it devolved into a fight

then a mouse spazzes out ad turns into a cenirpede knster and sarts eating m

wait, thats devilman

so eventually city mouse gets em out and goes home and leaves em even though he was sleeping before and stopped what he did yo tae em around

redneck mouse would rather live in the country even if its git a cat adthe cat shows up and they run and go up in a windw whre the ct cant get n

the cat smehow knos how to open the window and gets in an caew w over a pipe it akes so they fall but ca falls as birds cme in and turns on the machine

i guess this is the final battle cuz its in a factory and the last batt;es gotta be in a factory like Terminator

theres cans filled with red tomato soup and katy and mouse called gilbert and not "jjll bear" like frenchies say are at the edge of a catwalk and over a pit of tomato goo

the birds and cat advance on em but the cawalk brwaks and they fall, but edneck rodent on sega genesis cahes a cale and katy holds onto him as the birs and cat go on the oup and almost get sealed in cans

cat gets ot a ditches em to get the redneck rodent and they run and get to a hose katy turns on an mouse sprays cat with

how'd she know how to use a knob?

cat runs off and redneck rodent is gonna let th crows get sealed in a can and die like being buried alive but katy and rodent turn off the machine

why did they get out?! they had like 2 mins!!!

so the heroes make em promise to not harm em and they pull the crows outta the can and they are rhankful and the uo has rhe brds fly em home

i should point out that crows are smarer han apes and the only creature that might match em or surpass em is the octopus

them riding blackbirds is like Robotech flyng in veritechs

so they get brought back home and the crows are glad to have met em and turned good

katy gives ednck rodent a kiss bye and he's glad to be in his home like The lue Bird in 1918 and is taken back, even though they should've brought rodent gilbert home 1st, wasn'tgilberts home closer to the city than katy's cherry tree? did she spiral around the map?

the spirit welcomes katy back and katy dont know what she wants to e ut wnts to fly and not be a worker and spirit sez he will be a flying flower and its not magic that turns things and she has to do it herself

she gets a book saying what to do and sez she will have to give up what he is to be what se must b and aty wanys it and the spirut sez when thry mert she'll nbe a flying flower

the caterpillar sisterswelcome her back inda ad katystudies the book, waithow does she know how to read?

she nits something ad sings the song of discovering her real self and ita really nice and innocent and beautifu and moving andmakes me almost cry from emotion

the sister sez she dont act like the old katy ad they dont understand her and he nit a bag and hung in it from a tree

later we see nature in rain and a new day of sun and birds flying and ants marching and the birds are blue like the blue bird of happiness

eventually katy's bag moves and we see a laybug and a snail and katy emerges looking like a pretty gil  and her sisters are amazed

ses a butterfly with wings and flys even with her sister aying i wont work andthey are amazed

then her chubby sster is getting into i think katy's chrysalis and they wanna be flying flowers but never ay butterfly for some reason

thenkaty goes around and fys with her bee friend whos stll a slave and the birs who se seems bigger han and by he eky chameleon and frog she owes fr the button and redneck rodent and a song of being free plays and se sydances 

spirit se she became a butterfoy and was free cuz she had the guts yo be her real self and go out for it

then creditsto natire pans and wonderful muic

the end

that was wonderful

it moved me and helped me feel more ppsitie

its warm and moving and positive and clean and wholesome and bright

i loved the animation and colors and the voices were great

it has real heart and feels and is full of hope and light

its clean and wholesome and pure and full ofgoodness

Also there are ants that steal larve from other ant nests to use as slaves bt i don't think bees to it.

And what would a frog want with human money?

For Katy Caterpillar 2 I want her to go around gathering allies to beat the evil queen bee and free he hive, she gets some slug who have a network of animals and they launch a battle against the hive but gotta fight the bee servants to free em. In the end, Katy aces the queen bee but Mother Nature gives her an arm cannon that fires acis that melts the evil queen away and and she becomes the new queen who rules kindly. Also its a 128 bit game and flight thing like Robotech Battlecy on Sega Dreamcast, GameCube, Xbox and PS2 whee you play as Katy or other members in different levels and battle bees and tose enslaved by bees who and after eating em, you can use em and play as em in other missions as the queen is enslaving others to epand her empire.
