This is my eview on The Dream Of An Opium Fiend rom the distant future year to mary the elephant of 1908(120 years eore the 2n Rootech War)

Its directed by Georges Melies who did The One-Man Band/Going to Bed Under Difficulties/A Trip to the Moon/The Living Playing Cards/The Black Imp/The Conquest of the Pole/The Inventor Crazybrains and His Wonderful Airship

He was a frenchie and trade unionist and did a lot of occult things in his films

I never saw this b4 but its public domain

It tarts with a possible ningen or Frenchie i an eotic place an a maruta with a long braid giving him a long pipe like the red man does

maruta mixes something and light it and puts it in the pipe

the cup have smoke comming out and possible ningen smokes and stands up

he walks around seeming f;d then blacls out in a chair

maruta played by a possible ningen or Frenchie in maruta face laughs and seems to enoy this guy possibly overdosing

he even does a dance like blac guys on maury when they are NOT the father!

I must noticed there's Greek like columns in the background, possible referencing the millennial kingdom before THEY busted it

i hope the maruta dont b0ne him, but when it comes to drugs, thats not uncommon

So maruta runs off and it dissolves to him in a European 1st world study

a woman comes in with big t-ts and wakes him

hey have bead and wine or breakfast as they are eurotrash and as a ref to The Bible

another chick comes in and puts the wine bottle away ten gets a new one and a trophy lookking big glass

he holds the side handles an the chic each dump wine in it but its mostly head

then the scene fades to the same thin but the moon in the window has what soviet wikipedia calls Phoebe, the daughter of Chronos and Rhea, the pagan goddess/titan

she uses her ki or something to bring the trophy mug to her

also i got it wrong, her parents were Uranus and Gaia, Chrono and Rhea were her syblings

and she's on a cresceant moon, a symbol of the devil in some lore

it fades to the night sky with the moon and a face on it with clouds going behind it, as a possible thin on the Firmament the Moon lies behind

the moon zooms in and makes faces while looking lie a clown which have pagan origins

the trophy mug cmes up an the moon face drins it by tilting it with its ki

also its almost the size of the moon

the moon zooms bac and we see Phoebe not the one from Pinobee and Phoebee holding the mug and the man spazzes out

she comes down stairs that appear like Jacob's Ladder in The Bible or a stairway to heaven

she gives back the mug an has a seat as he gets more wine

as he's gonna pour it, the mug warp under the table and when he reaches fo it, it goes back on it

he goes to pour it but it winks out so he gets his irish up but he sits and tries to put his arm around her

se warps to the other side of the table so he scootches hi chain over to hug her

she don't consent as the french are gross an have bad dna so when he gets close, she warps to the other side of the table

she stanss up and he hugs her as she tries to escape but she's now a weird clown goblin midget

substitution jutsu?

he smooches the yokai's cheek but sees its not her and trys hitting it with a chair

it spins an move weirdly like a yokai and he raises an item and is gonna crush it

the end

that was creative

a lot of occult and demonic refs

clever twists

its like a dream brought to life

the effects are cool

the make up is good

it shows how drugs weaken our spiritul defences and allow demons access

i liked it

its goo for the 1900s

For The Dream Of An Opium Fiend 2 I want him to wake up an the maruta is doing stuff to him. His shock and the rugs allow a demon to possess him and he devolves into a yokai. Then goes around shredding druggies and dealers. Also its an 8 bit game on Nes, SG-1000, Atari 7800 and lynx where you play a him and go through various ares fighting druggies and demons and in the end, fight the moon demon who devolved you and the maruta worked for by giving demon blood infected drugs.
