The Blue Bird

This is my review on The Blue Bird from the distant future year to the evil abe l;incon of 1918(80 years before the global civil war in Robotecvh)

Its based on a book by Maurice Maeterlinck who upon looking him up, found he was a commie who didnt like the Germans and was into mysticism,  also word had it he had plagiarism controversies

Its directed by Maurice Tourneur who did the 20s Lorna Doone/The Last of the Mohicans

It had Sammy Blum from Mr. Deeds Goes to Town, and everyone else wasn't in anything i saw

this was inspired by and went on to inspuire the wizard of oz with the droogs going on a quest and there's no place like hiome

the woz books had an influence on this and this had an influence on the 39 film

i've seen this b4 a few x and loved it

it moves me to twears with its pure love and bliss 

it was remade later with shirly temple but that one sd-cked cuz they changed everyuthing

so it starts with text saying theres a blue bird of happiness that can't be seen by some cuz they get blinded by wealth, fame and empty honors, but thosae who have childhood innocence enjoy being happy and content

then these 2 kids tyltyl and hus syster myltyl, whuch swablue and altaria from pokemon were based on this mvoie, live with daddy tyl and mommy tyl

their neighbors across the way are rich kids and near em is a poor neighbor whos daughter was sick and wants tyltyls little bird to be happy and well likje with the blue bird of happiness

her mom or grandma or w/e goes over and yeah its the mom, and asks for the bird but daughter sez no and mom goes back home

at ther yul home and cat and dog clash and theres milk and sugar in the table and a scaefmade by granny tyl b4 she bit it

tyltyl asks  if ity has a soul and thiinks the bread and water and sugar and fire

what are they? Ainu?

also; when we bympo into something and swear it it, its kinda similar

wwe see a house with shadows of peoiple playing instruments and having fun

the neightbor mom comes over and is kind of a devolved hag aNDF ASKS FOR THE BVLUE BIRD

MYLTYLSBURD AINT BLOOO ENMUFF AND SHE WANTS THE KIDS TO FIND THE RIGHT ONE

so neighbor sez shes really this faeryuy and has em get dressed by standing on bed and spinning and turning like in power rangers

then the boy gets dressed which is  him undressing but played backwards

for 1918 its prewtty good

faerie sez the rich house isd as beautiuful as heere and they need to learn to see it

then turns into a faerie forme with a dissolve of the momn walking then going tofaERIE WALKING IN THE SAme space

she gave boy a magical hat to conceal the black magician i mean turn a  duiasmondto see inside of things liker da soul of bread water and fire

he does and we se a stop moition thing of the furnirture moving around

thebn the fire turns intoi a guy with i think the flames done by flowing cloth

pretty impressive effects

then waTER COMES to liife and its a flowing water fall and fading tpo this chick in flowing robes by the spout

then the dog comes but its a guy in a fursuitand he can communicate with em, same with da cat

water and fire clash and cat druinks milk, which is actually bad for cats cuz theys devolved, and caT ANBD DOG clash

pretty good acting like animals

then the sugar spirit comes and its like a guy in a d0ng robot costume and the milk spills and its a chick wearing a white veil and dress

then bread poopingh out of the oveb in a turban and light who's achick in veilsand a crown

if tthis were made today, the cat would be a busty cat girl like in dragon pink

so faerrie ssez any who go with the kifsd dier at the end and they got no choice now and weill go to the faerie palace

bread gets the caghe for the bird and theyy fly in the air like its dbz or transformers enewrgon but w/oi the wheels spinninbg as they drive in space

the rentsa see the kids sleeping in bed and go back to b0ne and in the faerie place inherited from mr bluebeard, wait, bluebeard? the guy who chopped up his wives? like the evil king henry 8 or o j simpson?

so they go therew and we see the silhouette of a large hill anbd castle on t and the arrea has a green tint and looks cool

cat wants to intentionally f da missipon at any cost to save his own life but dog sez he'd ice da cat if he harms da kids

make him into chinease chicken wings!

SO FAERIE CANT GO TO THE PALACE OF NIGHT AND THats where the journey is and its like dat chick friom the power rangers movie whjo trauiined em and wore that anuimal slkkin bikini

so the party gfoes on and in ttheunderground palace of night, cat tels mother night the dark queen, but not lie the leather chick in basttletoads, the kids want the bluebird and finding it would sove her dread mysteries

she  complauins that man learned too much and babnished 1/3rd of her evils  like sicknesses and ghosts

the kids come amnd cat runs back to emand they go to see mother night

myltyl asks if the guys artlund her area are her kids and she shows sleep and sleep[s grim sister whos name isnt good to hear

tyltyl wants her keys to look for da boid and cat hannds em over to bnight who gives ewm to tyltyl but sez her ghosts are in the doors

tyltyl goes in and these white robed ghostscome fort himbut dog scares wem off with punching the air like the lion in oz

also the ghjosts are a thing on The Klan who aided margret sanger in killing the unborn and promoted eugenics to gkkeep thge "bad" races from continuing

after going in toi see sickness which was faces in the shadows like dantes inferno, they see shades and TerrQos which are people bendunbg behinfd a sheet and in lighting to look like silhouettes

night tells em not to open this 1 door as her other secrets are  nothing compasred to it

da kidz go in and see blue birds in a bright area and go in to catch em and gettra  few

but they died and only the real blue bird wont die

oh and they back wi the fAEERIE AND BREAD ANMD THE REST

BREAD HAS A curved blade and sez not tio eat now cuz they need dinner with rents

wait, they only get 1 meal a day?

also; was bread gonnaoffer his body to feed em?

like in x men how wolverine went to a  village that the food shipment was destroyeds and fed em with his body as he regenerated?

so they go the the graveyard and its the land of the dead and at mdknight theyt use the magic hat to go in abd the magic hat turns the grVEYARD TOI A FLOWER LANBD 

they go on and find their granbdparents in the land of the dead andare glad to see em aagain

theyn find the kids  past blaxck bird but now its blue  cuz i guess it digivolved and grandpa lets em have it

their dead brothers abd sisaters come ovewr abnd man theres a lot of em

thats f--kin sad, was there a fire or something?

so they go back with da bird but its gone and go to the palace of happiness where luxeries abnd joys are 

its a big party and tinted pinkish and the crew meets the luxewry of being ricgh, huis son in law, lux of being a land owner, lkuxeeruiues of eatuinbg and drinking when not thirsty or hungary and knowing nothing, whos deaf and sleeping more than needed and satisfied vanity

the kids dont want it and wanba get da bloo burd but out of all birds, including rocs eggs, theres none here and they are food birds

thew parry starts getting seduced by luxeries so light has em turbn the diamond and the luxeries fleeand it gets smokey and they are in the palace of happiness

chief happiness of home guides em to places for happiness/joy thetyy have

we see happoiness of  purew air, joy of loving, joy of pure thoughts, happiness of springtine, joy of forrest, glade and dell, happiness of watching stars rise, 

this is really uplifting and wonderful and moving, makes me wanna be a bettewr man

then they see trhe greratest joy; maternal love

eacjh of their smiles and kisses makes her younger and puyts stars in her eyues

and they will know her when they get home

the kids wannsa stay in this heaven and light or we/e brings them the cage and they kissd mom on the cheek and are sent to the kingdom of the future where klids are waiting to be born

so its  a womb levell?

they ask 1 kid how old he is and he sez he'd be born in 12 years and asks if its nice to be born?

actually ur pooped ioutta the mom and scream naked and wet

but with twins, if you put em together they caalm down as they remember each other from thr womb

1 kid has an invention to make people comfy and happy

1 is their brother whos gonna be born on palm sunday and tells em to tell dad/mom to rready the crtadle

i guess its from them b0ning

2 futurte people, or mirai jin, are lovers meant to be together and can't leave togetrher

if they did they;''d be twins and that would be staR WARS AND voltage fighter gowcaizer

then Time opens the gates for kids born today and this shiop comes into bring the kids to their fams

1 kid wantsx to go now as his rents are old and waited so long but he isnt ready yet

dont weanna be premature

1 of the lovers has to be born and the other isnt so he has to leave her, she asks for a sign for how she';df know him in the next life and he says, he'd be ther saddest thing on earth w/o her

thats beautiful, i cried a little

as the boat gets ready, the mothers singing to their kids song reaches them and the ship sails to bring the kids to their families

this is a good messasge, each life has something to bring, and deserves a chanbce

That bay in you may be the one who makes a great invention or is the soulmate for someone special

we dont know the future so we shouldnt destory something we dont know tyhe full use of

sop the journey is over and the food and things say bywe and return to their power confined

cat and dog scuffle and the kids dont gte the blue bird and then are in bed and mom wakes em up

kids are happy to have their mom and wonder if it was all just a drem? or mayeb a vision? or it was real?

neighbor mom comers by and wants som,e fire as shes cold and has a crutch

the kids ask if shes the faerie and needs the blue brid, wait, both kids had the same dream? looks like it WAS real!

they look at their bvird and see its blue(they never noticed it before?!) and theyy went all over but it was at home the whole time

even though the faerie said "this one isn't blue enough" but i guess the kids and audience didnt remember it

they give the neighbor the bird and tell the rents the hiouse is prettier than when they lkeft and they are happy

neighbor girl comes in with da bird and looks like cerena vincent from power rangers lost galaxy as maya and the kids are kind to her but the bird gets away

neighbor feels bummed and the kids say its ok cuz the bluebird of happiness was with em and they;';d keep him in their hearts and tio have found him is enough

then tyltyl sez to the audience to look for their bluebird with all our hearts and if we find him, keep huim for ourselves, but 1stlook in your own homes where he's most likely to be found

they neighbor girl smiles with tyltylk and myltyl is behind em trying to get in the frame

the end

that was wonderful

it had real heart and life and meaning and a good message

it promotes life and joy and value and has real feelings

i always cry watching this and it has a good message without being preachy

this was one of my fave silent movioes up there with Greed and Ersnt Lubitsch in terms of Feels

Lubitsch doing a heartmoving film is normal, but this guy came from nowhere and did it

like Anna in Yugioh Zexal beating tough guy instead of Yugi

Its an innocent story with deeper meaning for the adults and those who know love

Do you remember Do You Remember Love? The Macross Movie!

Its only like 80 mins and year the effects are kinda primitive but this was from WW1 and that's how movies were in the 10s

Now it looks llike an internet vid bby guys with editing software, but it holds up

There was an anime based on this book from the 80-s or w/e  and i never read the book but I notice the side characters didn't do much

I assume in the book they had more to do and the cat seemed to give upo his starscream plans pretty quickbut this was from before we had longfilms being normal and D W Griffith had only done Birthj Of A Nation 3 years prior

I liked the tinting and its in proper fullscreen like things should be.

its a true classic and has real emotion and love

For The Blue Bird 2 I want it to be about the life of the boy from the Kingdom Of The Future, as he goes around seeming like he's not complete, until he meets this girl who he connects to, but she has a devolvved looking guy after her and the main guy has to train to take him on in a duel with swords to win the girl, also its an 16 bit fighting game with  weapons on Sega Genesis, Snes, TG16, Atari Jaguar and GBA where you go around the world and face the best weapons fighters around the planet to get stronger and get sklill points from beating em and each gives points in a certain area to customize, then faCE THE devolved guy at the end and he uses a huge blade with grips on it instead of a swortd and wields it with 2 hands and its got various grips on it. Then after you beat him, he reveals to be a minion of the Night chick and wanted to stop em cuz their love would make a kid who would save humans from themselves.
