its based on a book i n ever read bt heard was good by Greg Sestero The Disaster Artist: My Life Inside The Room, the Greatest Bad Movie Ever Made, which sounds lie Tommy's got him chained up in his basement and takes a bite evey day
i saw this b4 and liked it and loved the room
after many logos we see actors praising The Room but many of them are devolved then title
in th distant future year of 1998 around when hokuto no ken and the global civil war in robotech happened, a guy in acting class s-cked so the female director sez relax
then Tommy comes onfor the acting class and does a devolved mrano stella climbing the walland spazzing out
the main guy greg Sestero follows him after it and is impressed by his acting and wants to do a scene with him
later greg is plaong football with kids in his hood and tommy drives up and is impressed by his car and sez don look at robot crab, he shy, for a transformer
they eat at a restaurant and greg fears people laughin at him and ants to be confient like Timmy
so tommy has him do a scene in a booklet and tommy encoueages himto be liud in pulic with people around tommy dont care of and greg joins in lod and brave nd well acted as the people confusedly clap
later they play football in the park and tommy reveals soviet losangelas is with people wanting to be star and you need more than luck but need to be best and not give up
they go to Tommy place witha lot of weird cr-p and he claims to b from louisianna an has red bull woth greg and thinks this photo Tommy sez was a few years ago has tommy looking young
but he's polish or w/e and dont age

they talk of how james dean did III movies and died but its near here and tommy goes there even though its 32 i mean 3 hours away
greg sez THEy said jeams woulnet make ut and tommy gdoes a pinky promise lie genki and pixie in monster rancher to help each other
later they drive listening to rick Astley never gonna give you up and tommy sez he has apartntemtn he never use in l a and san fran sicko and wants greg to live there
i actually wrote an openly bad fanfic where sailor venus saves tommywiseay from fish eye and they hav a scene he extends a lime green tentacle in her belly button and filled her to fertilize her eggs as after his home planet was destroyed by a meteor, he needs to repopulate his kind so when his slaves find a new planet to colonize, they can rule as regents
greg leaves his mom who dont like it and speaks w/o her fench accent like in rea life and mo is worried and thinks its too hard
she meets tommy and he sez he's 19 which i think is in the years by his home planet and she dont trust him and probably thinks hes gonne b0ne him
they go to soviet l a and tommy has 1 bedroom but asks if gre want to share bedroom but it joke and he take couch and it like beauty and beast but tommy is beauty
he never had friend like tommy andi mean greng and they o to the roof and look at the night sity
tommy does mal modeling as goo vibration plays and ait its a montage of them applyin for acting an him getting photos made
greg lie grigory rasptin goes to an agency andmeets irish i mean iris an she smokes and gets an gent
they go to a club and tommy dances weirdly to dance music and greg talks with a girl bartender and tommy gets ealous and has em go
tommy and greg audition and they think tommys accent is weird so he treis w/o it and its weird even for tommy
greg is dating the bar girl andtommy coms in to se em on the couch watchin a show or w/e and tommy sez hes with slavinskosky but gf sez hes dead
tommy in acting class is told hes good for a villain like Dracula/frakentein and he dont wanna cuz he want to be hero and not ogre from the tempest

greg talks with an openly black guy who sez don't be with tommy cuz hes weird and repelling Hollywood
probably cuz hes a nice guy and wholesome and Hollywood is sin
at a restaurant tommy goes to judd apataow and wants to work with him but judd sez call my agency and get a merting with resume and tommy devolves into shakrsepeare
judd sez its not gonna happen in a million years so tommy sez "then after that/' an he's kind of a j=rk off to Tommy
tommy is a beautiful soul and these deviens dont get him
greg comes home and finds tommy on the roof sad from their words and greg sez the agent wont return calls
tommy sez they dont like him/wont give chance and it kinda moving, you feel for him in your heart
franco is a good actor to play him as a relaable guy while being ddd
greg sez make our own movie and tommy in a perfect scene ez "gerg! how long is movie script?!" and makes The Room like Tennessee Willians but it kinda devolves into a Rasputin/Nicola eala thing
he shows Greg his script and he's impressed with echoing quites from it
in the real version he wrote t as a play and then a novel no one wanted to d and the original script was kinda unsayable from how weird it was
Tommy ives him the role of Mark ater Mark damon fro talented mister ripley but its really matt but tommy misremembered
they go to a camera thing and Tommy wants to buy even though its expensive and wants to do 35 mm and hd as he knows nothing of this but takes a chance as he's got chutzpah and gets a discount filming in that stufio
they audition overkylie Minogue andtommy asks weird things like now you ride horse or now you plat saaphone an now u eat ice cream fast
tommy hires everyone as he don't get whats going on and
1 thinks its p0rn0 but tommy sz the dont do dat cuz hes a good catholic and isn't into that kinda sin
tommy gives a speech to inspire the people and its kinda off but nice and he has provate dirdctor bath room as he dont like poots
tommy made set of alley way near real one as it real holly wood m ovie and he dont want shoot in real
they film thescene where denny meets chris r and chris r's actor is intense and doing a good job as in real life hes a Georgian bob sled guy or w/e

after filming a sene where marks confronted by peter or w/e pver b0ning lisa, seth rogan cashes a check and finds its got unlimited money
tommy has to film his 1st scwne and is going nuts and none of his outfit matc hes and he dont take photo for continuiyty

after dozens of takes greg gives him a watr bottle to show emotion and it works and everyones happy
later tommy i mean greg talks with hom i mean gf about tommy weird
they do the line where tmmy laughs of the chick beat uo by one of the dozen guys she was b0ning and seth sez its not a funny story so tommy sez something i mean sometimes people do crazy things it human behavior
seth has enough and shoots himelf in the head

tommy watches the footage he took of the crew and sees hey dont like him
greg goes to dinner with tommy/gf who he want move in with and tommy thinks he betray him and it like Griffith/guts in berserk
tommy goes oytside and busts up arbage cans saying evety body betray me
then they film love scene and tommy walk around wit patch o his man parts and he hard on evetine toget bettr performances for like Hitchcock
greg sez tommys being awful and we see james franckos a55 like jean cl;aude van damme and he bickers with mark
after filming a love scene with lisa belly button and going mental he reveals he documenting making of room with camera watching and he fire em for cr-p but gives another chance

later gf sees bryan Cranston from Malcom in the middle andhe wants to help greg as in Malcom he directs they need a lumberjack so gregs beard makes him work for it
on day 52 of 40 they film tommys devolved rampage where he eats his gun and trashes the place then after eating his gun he spazzes out with the dres then eats his gun again
greg wants to not shave for the movie as he wants the day off tomorrow to film malcome in the middle but tommy can't andgteg goes with it for the clean shaven baby face scene with them in tuxes and playing football
tommy gets new crew snd films scenes in the park with playing foot bal and tommy ttrys to remind him of how he helped him to have emotion and ets personal o greg wigs out and asks him where he's from/how old is he/ur monster/villain and fights then storns off
in real life tommy could crush him like a grape as hes got big manly hands and is really strong for a guy from either the cold war or garen of eden
greg devolves to thatre actng and gets letter from tommy
tommy follows him and sez we premier movie/make pact and finds gregs gf went to Texas to be Ametican
they go to the premier and dive by to build anticipation as the uys there think "thats weird but it would be weird if he didn't do something weird"
thry watch the movie in a room of people ad they refilmed scenes wih this movies actors
everyone devolves into laughter andommy leaves crying as they laugh at his hard work an thinks everyone hate hm
greg comfprts him and sez he did something and it was popular
ommy sees how peope enjoy it and have fun and cheer "do it" as he eats his gun an tommy comes in to a cheering audience and sez he make comedy
in real life he gave a copyu rough cut to greg whos fam was intrdgued by its eirdness and the premier was a bust and later a guy saw it and spread word and it became popular
tommy sez he made it this wayand only cuz of his best friend greg
then text saying it was in 2 weks to be in th Oscars and it made 1800$ but cost over 6 million i 00s money but went on th=o be a cult phenominom and tommy ]/greg are best freinds
then clips of the room next tothe reshot scenes for the move thn credits to 90s dance the rhythm of the night
then after the creits a scene of the real tommy meeting franco playing tommy as tommy wanted a cameo like with stan lee in marvel things
the end
that was fun
tommys weird and offbrayt but a good guy
when I me him he had a light to him like he had good ki
he makes you feel positive

but i liked this movie
james gives a good performance and should've got the Oscar
he played him nice and weird but not as a joke, but a real person with feelings
and really seems like tommy
it show a version of how tommy mae this weird ovie and fought to make his dream happen
the movie makes you feel good and it lifts your spirits
but i real life greg is like a foot taller than Tommy
glad I rewatched it, it holds up
For The Disaster Artist 2 I want Tommy to be making a new movie and a high rank holly wood guy comes by to work with him. everyone sez its great but tommy dont wanna and dont say why. later the propduer tries to steal away tommys crew and some go but aren't seen again. turns out he's a demon and eats em in black rituals and when greg goes to see what this guys like, he is gonna eat him. Greg calls out to The Creator for help and an angel appears and battles the demon, only to reveal its Tommy and he gives Greg a holy sword and they battle it til it blows apart. Its also a 2 player beat em up on sega genesis, snes, tg16, Atari jaguar and gba with 1 player as Tommy and 1 as Greg and they fight in various movie sets to beat the demons and their worshippers.
