This is my review on Broken Arrow from the distwnt furure year to Yagyu Jubei of 1950 (70 years before Transformers Zone and Robotech Season 2)

Its directed by Delmer Daves who did Demetrius and the Gladiators

It stars Jimmy Stewart from Mr. Smith Goes to Washington\It's a Wonderful Life\Rope\Rear Window\The Man Who Knew Too Much\Vertigo/The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance\How the West Was Won\The Rare Breed\Firecreek\An American Tail: Fievel Goes West/The Naked Spur, Jeff Chandler from Thunder in the Sun, Good Christian Debra Paget from Demetrius and the Gladiators/The Ten Commandments/From the Earth to the Moon, Basil Ruysdael from The Violent Men/Blackboard Jungle, banana crammer commie Will Geer from Salt of the Earth/The Searchers/In Cold Blood/The Bill Cosby Show/Jeremiah Johnson/The Waltons, Joyce MacKenzie from nothing I saw, Arthur Hunnicutt from The Red Badge of Courage/The Rifleman/The Andy Griffith Show/the 60s The Twilight Zone, Jay Silverheels from Kit Carson\Key Largo/Saskatchewan/True Grit, and some guys I never saw in anything.

I never saw this b4 but its inspired by actual people, but changed a lot, like every movie does

so after logo and credits and tirle to technicolor and fullscreen on a paper looking like Robin Hood, we get narration saying its 1870 nd about a indian trie leader and they translated the apache lasnguage to American but clains its true

After getting outta the army, jimmy went tp meet a guy and saw a buzzard so he followed it to find an apachebiting it and struggling to move

jimmy was fighting e for years and their violence and war crimes like skinning people and roasting em  or executing em with hot coals 1 coal at a time

he gives the indian water but the indian tries to sank him but jimmy stops him and cares for him to dig buckshot outt his back and help him recover over a few days

his wounds wwre infected but it dont show it and in the real version were probably oozing pus and goo

so he is on a thing to become a man at 14 like a red barmitzva  and has to go back to help his mom and jimmy is surprized apache care for their kids

the apache talks about his gds and how he plays for the Whites to be wiped out like reddit guys  but dont want jimmy iced

then arrows attack and miss and apace sezto put away his gun and calls out that this White man is his friend

his dad comes by and rags on his son for being nice to a White Man and calls his son tame and a woman but its said apache dont take scalps

they let jimy go and he learned the apache can be fair and he told em he looks for gold or yellow iron like the sun is calle day moon

laer some White men come by andthe apache sniperem like j fk but with arrows and the men eventually notice anda gunfight breaks out

the survivors were gung and grit blurred out 1 of em cuz i guess they gotta protect the candya55es and 1 was buried in the ground, his face rubbed with food, and the ants ate him alive as he had apache scalps

tey tell him this is apache land and not for Jimmy's race and its like general Jack Pershin capping 49 malcontents, dumping the bodies in a pit, and dumping pig guts on em, then sending 1 survivr to tell the rest of em

so jimmy goes back to te civ ilized area and talks with the guya and meets the commader who sent for him who sed hes ordered to clear out the apache as they iced a few but jimmy sez there was 5 not 50 and that he wascaptive and lt go as they owned him for saving 1 of em

they wondr why he didnt ice the teen and jimmy sez the chief know the area better than him and is tougher and more skilled than commander thinks but whena rancher sez jimmy might  e siding with em, jimmy nearly bts him but the rancher sez his woman was iced by em

jimmy sez a snooy lt betrayed the chief and hung his bro while having a truce and he's tired of killing and chief has the tribes united

the mail can't make it through and jimmy wants to learn apache protoculture to talk with chief and get the msl through and theythink hes nuts and tjis apache agrees to help him

after a skipped training arc that might have a montage in the 80s remake, jmmy comes out witha cloth andsez not to lie and chief can see through his heart which i thik means sensing ki

the teacher sez he saw an owl which is an omen and jimmy didnt and goes out and has a fire at night and worries of the apahe who might lurk like ninja

eventually he makes it to the cheifs stronghild and keeps his hands visible and no sudden movies like a guy talking to a cop who pulled hi over so the cop dont gotta ice him when he goes for a firearm to get away

jimmy gets there and sez hes here to speak to the ceif and sucks up to him andgives a possible guy his gun and bullets saying he wants em when he leaves andmeets the cheif who was not in the film yet and it not the guys dad

jimmy explains thatmail is like smoke signals and asks for letting the Americans have mail

chief sez they can be use for signals against em but jimmy sez they use telegraph and army messengers and when asked i he fought em he ez yes at the battle of apache pass

chief tkes him back to his cabin and i man tent and ez he fight to defen his people from the gov and asks why he not ice jimmym, jimmy sez the mailmen did no wrogn and he sez his kind did no wrong and were iced like his bro

chief thinks jimmy wanting peace is unusual for the White man and jimmy is allowed to saty the night and they go out to tak together in a non b0ning way

jimmy knows of their dance for a young girls comming of age ceermny like a bart mitzvah and  chief sez she's holy now and he brings jimym to see her

she sez each scar is a mark of something and he's doing well and he brings in jimmy who she tends to his arm wound and sez prophecy of his arm not hurting and havign a long life

is she using witchcraft? or ki?

her name means morning star like the devil and later jimmy is shaving and chick is amazed by it and thought he was skinning himself

he shows he aw her in a mirror and she is amazed by it as Bible Era Tech is too much for em to get

she wants to go as she isnt' married yet and isnt allowed to talk to apache men except at rituals and dances but sometimes meet in secret an probably b9ne

she goes off to get berries and he follows and sez he hopes to come back as they like each other and he wants to not be alone anymore

chief comes by and sez he will let the mail go through and no others to show the apache power

J-Jimmy comes back ns tells rte people but learns when he was out the apache attacked a wagon but jmmy sez chief sd he's not ending the war

1 guy bets jimmy that 5 riders will go and return for 300$ and 1 guy volunteers as he trusts the bimmy

they return and wait its 1 and was late and hot drunk and the next few ridersgo by w/o iincident

a wagon train goes out and has a lot o forces in his wagon for whe the apache attack

the attack and run past em and a buncha Americans chse em aainst the higher ups orders then the 2nd wave attacksand cits em off

then men come out and fire at the apache and its like in robotech with th invid and the SDF-3 but threaache ack the wagons and waste the Americans

after the sruggle a few survivors get up and the horses stay by em and dont eat the fallen

so the people think someone tipped off chief to the men in the wagn and the the last mail rider cam in but the rancher thinks jimmy fixed it and jimmy beats him out

the people think he let a mail rider throgh but iced a wagon train and jimmy sez chief has honor but they think ibdians dont got any

they pay him the bet and he throws it back and sez drinks r on me but they dont wat drinks from an inian lover andhe fights em but they go to string him up

commander saves him and wants to meet chief and is a good Bible Beliver andwants a peace treaty for the preseident grant who did war crimes in the civil war

jimmy wants equality for apache to have their on ethnostate like the frenchies got in soviet canada and jimmy agrees to bring him

jimm goes out tothe base and meets the chick who washed her clothes and hair and they grow coloser and make out

so chief returns and read the names of the fallen andmeets with jimmy and talk of who to trust and how you knw

then a ritual with the chicks in outfits like bible slaves and chief sez the chick jimmy likes is gonna be maiierd soon

they do a duck duck goose thing and chick chooses jimmy and they dance but she sez she cant be with her i meab him and it will cause issue

chief comes in p-ssed he took her but  jimmy sez he wants her for his wife but chie sez they'd be hated where they go andto stick to their own kind like a 50s guy

the couple wants to stay together and chiif sez he's stick up for em to her rents and the guy wjo wanted her isn't happy and  everyone knew of em

later he sez the rents refused but its a joke and agreed to horses and cr-p in exchange as its the 1800s and ceef wants toge em

at night a guy trys to shnk jimmy but he beats im out andcheef comes in andtels him attacking a safe promised guy is forbidden against his bushido code and sends jimmy to eksewhere before capping the assassin

so jmmy will marry at the next moon as her mom wanted and jimmy talks with chick 

Huh, according to candy a55 wikipedia, this was based on the 558-page novel Blood Brother (1947) by Elliott Arnold, which told the story of the peace agreement between the Apache leader Cochise and the U.S. Army, 1855–1874

jimmy has cheef andgeneral meet to sign a peace treaty and this is seeming like robotech wth love on each side of a war of difference races

jimmy shows the apace the treaty and sez its a picture map ewth words deciding the terrtory and land and there's q/a saying theyd string up Whites who ice reds

the reds are bummed tey cant raid mexicans and stwal and loot and pillage and b0ne em and dont wanna raise cattle thinking its weak as they never been to teas

1 wats to break away and lead his own group like king henry the 8th or the devil and chief breaks rhe arrow and sez ge's tryig peace but if anyone wants to walk away, they can and forme a new groupe

if more leave then stay, then he resigns but not many leave and the rebellionizer takes the nane te mexicans game im as hes ashames f being his tribe and becomes, geronimo!!

general and jimmy eat pony likepinky pie anr rerity in my little pony and cheef sez he'd try peace for 3 months and general agrees

so some didnt blieve in the other side and the sides walked by each other w/o violence and coaches went byun mo les tud

as a coach stops a guy in the woods opens fire and  jimmy sez its renegade indians who want their guns ad wanna wait tl night to get em as they gt em pinned down at the river

bimmy goes off tolaunch a smoke signal and laterte guys are loe on ammo and thim jmmy f;d em

then jimmy and a swarm of apache come in likezentraed siding with the robotech defence force aganst malcontents and save em

so its 12 days and things look good ad bimmy is gonna marru his woman and has ther cereminywith blood mixing like some daenonic thing

i wouldnt want my son marrin outside his race. no orcs, hobbits, dwarves or gnomes. elves I can tolerate, but might not tolerate me.

so they go out and its a bit lighr ad hazey and they hae a romantic positive momenrt and go in her tent to b0ne

its 16 days and cheef hears geronimo went to mexico and cheef sez to keep the peace so its nt the reds that break it

jimmy is with his wife andtells her of Adam and Eve ad shes amazed the world is so bg and she knows little

its ok, my gf is kind of a bimbo and i care for her

she wondersif he'd dump her but he sez he wont abdlaer ceef teaces jimy how to use a bow as chick laughs at his cr-ppy bow work

a boy comes up and sez 2 colts was jacked by apache and he tracked em and thinks tey are here

cheef sez hes lying but jimmy sez bys dad hates te reds and dispriving him will be good for the cause andthey go wth em

a bunxha Whiteswait in ambush and rancher is thereand sez to fire when his by is out

boy books it and tey open fire on them cappng jimmy and hs woman who went out fighting wth a knife chaRGE

cheefescapes and throws a knife into rancher who thought he was outta arrows and  the rest book it to soviet mexico to be b0ned ewad by the cartel

later jimmy comes o and sees chic is iced and when jimmy wants revenge on te survivor, cheef comforts him and sgives him good advice tha he lost hus men too and peace isnt always easy

soon after, they rounded up the attackers and commander bible guy comforts him and jimmy ralizes that her end brought on the peace they needed ad she's always wth him

the end

that was great

i got a bit teary eyed at tha ending

nice acting and this was one of the st westerns to show the reds in a positie view

jmmy does good in here and its a nice film with good themes

nice music and action and it don't drag and goes by at a nice pace

I like the color and its pretty cool

even though i think the romabce was made up and not in the real story i think it worked

its a well made film and i'm glad i saw it

For Broken Arrow II I want the sasquatch tribe to come from another dmension and want the land they left long agi that the White Man has. The gov gets Jimmy to negotiate but it they dnt follow imabd he escapes. then he gets the apache to twam up with em to fight the apache. Its also a 16 bit Srpg like Shining Force and on Sega Genesis, Snes, TG16, Atari Jaguar and GBA where you play as a team of Americans and Apache agnst the sasquatch race to take em on with Steampunk tech from tesla and edison.
